A driver's license is a "passport" to an array of other important documents. Even the ultra liberal Democrats in Albany are outraged at Spitzer's insane proposal. Polls indicate that 72% of New Yorkers are opposed to it. But who comes rushing to his aid? GWB and Chertoff. but should we really be surprised?

This time, it really IS “Bush’s fault”.

But it is all of a piece with the “North American Union” agenda, of which both Bush and Chertoff are vigorous supporters.

As described here I doubt that many illegals will avail themselves of the third option as it brands them as illegals the moment they pull it out.

In fact, the whole deal looks so clunky I won’t be surprised if everyone simply lets it die on the vine and nothing actually happens.

NO State has the authority to give illegal aliens anything. And the federal government is in violation of the Constitution when they give criminals the same rights as the citizens of this great nation. But then no one in government cares, all anyone cares about is to let the Span-ish take over and destroy our country.

This whole story is spin on the part on the clown, spizer the queen, in New york, he knows he could not win in a court so he comes up with this mumbo jumbo. Jerkoff said he did not sign off on giving license to illegals. And the media liberals are just spinning it even more.

Three kinds of driver licenses for one state? I had no idea the Tower of Babel had so many different winding staircases in it. This is just another way to complicate our lives and increase government employment. But, will it really make us safer. asks Tim Russert?

I am totally disgusted with an American government that operates like Putin and Chavez. They are blatantly ignoring the will of the people as they destroy our sovereignty. The American people better wake up before it’s too late. I think it’s time for a revolt against these traitors.

Dear Morons in New York State:

As previous amnesty attempts have shown, most illegal aliens have no desire whatsoever in registering and making themselves subject to future roundups. Even when amnesty is free, very low hassle, less than 30% of illegals took advantage of it, most refusing to participate - why should they?

But why let reality dictate anything?

Another “back door amnesty” by Bush & Co.

Whatever businesses remaining in NY state should refuse to accept the bottom-tier licenses as ID then.

This ain't going anywhere, at least that part of the plan where illegal aliens get licenses. State Senator Golden has been solid on this and is one of those who will see to it:

"It's about time that Governor Spitzer is understanding of the fact that giving licenses without the requirement of a Social Security Number is flawed," said Republican state Sen. Martin Golden of Brooklyn. But he said the Senate's Republican majority will still seek to alter Spitzer's plan to make sure illegal immigrants can't get any version of the license.

"Regardless of it being a one- or two-tier system, the law requires Social Security Numbers to obtain a driver's license in New York State and can not be changed without legislative action," Golden said.

The “special” licenses for illegal aliens (wink wink) will be very useful for rounding them up and deporting them.

Vote Fraud, pure and simple.

And shame for Chertoff not reading Spitzer The Riot Act on camera when
they made their photo-op appearance.

Bush has a pathological obsession with deflating wages for working drivers in this country.

I guess no one has heard of an International Drivers license. All those illegals have to do is go to their embassy here in the US and get them to issue a regular national drivers license for their country and an international drivers license. Each state in Mexico has it’s own legal requirements and probably some are much easier than others to obtain. I’ll bet that some of them don’t even require proof that you can drive.

Just wondering what the heck the illegals do for a license when they cross the border back to Mexico in a vehicle? Are they in compliance with Mexican law or are they scofflaws there as well? There are strict Mexican insurance laws as well. Also if the car is plated in the US and everything isn’t proper in terms of documentation the Mexican government can and will seize the car at the boarder and not give it back. Can you imagine the howls from the liberals and immigrant activists that would occur here if our police sized cars of illegals for the same reasons that they do in Mexico?

There was an ex-military man in his 60 holding a sign on W 72 and Broadway today who wants Spitzler out of offices.

I asked if he was a freeper.

He never hear of us, but I gave him the URL

I wish I got his # to invite him to the NYC FR group!

A driver's license is a "passport" to an array of other important documents.

In related news - I was behind an Austin (you know, that big blue stain in the middle of the vast red of the Lone Star State) vehicle today with an array of bumper stickers. Right beside the one announcing the dimwitted party was one proudly stating his/her dog votes. Which led me to immediately wonder how many times the dog votes in each election and how many other dogs he's registered.
