I’m well aware of that, and don’t be surprised if Richardson, given his Clinton connections, is Hillary’s vice presidential choice.
re: Clinton/Truther
I shocked folks fell for it. What else could he do? If he ignores, he may be complicit. It’s not like Hillary can separate from the fringe. We all know he can’t say they’re right. Long story short, folks will think back to 93 then to OKC, Cole, other bombings... Sandy’s pants, Able Danger, etc.
We can’t have that... can we?
He tried, but he failed.
Are you kidding? Burden? No, it's an honor!!!!!
Bust away!!!!
Anyway, I'm off to Church. Back at noon!
Richardson will get a post... or at least another ambassadorship. He’s in deep and knows too much to leave out there.
het Anita,,,,,so few here remember that Blanco was in direct talks with Bill and Hillary about advice concerning Katrina............Blanco would not act til Bill and Hill told her what to do...................the next mornin the levys broke flooding the buses......................
.........yet they lie and say it was Bush’s fault
Watching it now. Laura is such a classy lady.
Laura Bush is one lovely and smart lady.
They prepped her on the SCHIP thing. “It’s a perfect issue to demagogue.”
Richardson made comments that homosexuals chose their behavior and supports boycotting the Olympics in China (ala Carter), plus other positions he’s taken that showed he is not ready for prime time yet. On the plus side he brings the Hispanic vote into play but I’m not convinced he is needed to do that nor is he that popular with the radical left that Hillary has to contend with.
I’ll admit to that. Richardson was used by Bill with the Monica fiasco which puts him in a special spot.
Lovely laugh by Laura when Wallace asks her if she is torn over Clinton’s candidacy.
(She is not torn :)
Wesley Clark has been more visible lately in the MSM. He may well be Hillary’s choice for VP to burnish her national security credentials.
Laura Bush has a lot of class. The media has a hard problem handling that. Wallace botched the interview with Lynn Cheney because of the same thing: he has a hard time relating to strong women who are articulate and individualistic and exhibit a lot of class. The media seems to have an image that women in general are like Hillary, or the various women on their networks. Ain’t so.
Possibly but I doubt it. Clark may be angling for Defense Secretary or UN Ambassador more than anything else. No president since Lincoln was a US Rep and no senator since Kennedy. This election will be historic if one is elected. I still believe Hillary will choose a sitting or ex-governor. One major area she lacks is executive experience and she will want to overcome that.
I like Bobby Jindal, but I must say I think there is some speech coach out there that tells politicians there are certain hand gestures they MUST use when speaking and it just disturbs me. It looks fake and contrived.
Sen. Salazar is the worst. Pat Buchanan also has that annoying hand chop without which he cannot speak. Pelosi with her pointer finger in the air must also have had this coach.
Dodd...heh.
He’s polling lower than Steven Colbert.
He must not expect to win this thing so I wonder what he’s up to.
My thought, exactly.
Thanks Bahbah, I’ll look for it this morning.
My guess is Dodd is working to rehabiliate his image and legacy. He knows he cannot win but he can certainly improve what people think about him when he’s brought to mind.
Now on to FTN.
Levin whining The Bush administration’s words are too hot and threatening! Speak more softly!
Schieffer: But what about Putin?
Levin: I’ve spoken with the Russian defense minister and I think they’re just playing politics.
Funny, I searched eBay completed auctions using all different combinations of keywords and I can’t for the life of me find the Singapore charity auction that according to ABC was the biggest auction in eBay history...........I have no problem finding the Rush Limbaugh $2,100,000 charity auction though.....
