Good morning... comments in a bit...
Good morning, Alas.
It will be nice to see our lovely First Lady.
Whoa... hold the phone... ABC actually let Duncan Hunter have some airtime??? Oh, I have to catch this. I’ll ping the Hunter list while I’m at it.
HEADS UP HUNTER FANS: Duncan Hunter will be on ABC’s This Week this Sunday, October 28. Check local listings for time.
Please tell me I’m not in Bizarroworld. This guy was instrumental in the Petraeus hearings and they passed him up. Maybe with the wildfires in San Diego they finally came to their senses.
FNS should be fun to watch as how Wallace would spin the Katrina * Debacle.
Fox news actually looks like it will be interesting.
I wonder if Timmy will be the host for a full hour with Chris Dodd, or will be delegate that assignment?
ElBaradei on Wolfie’s show should have some amusing comments on Syria’s nuclear situation.
I also want to hear Duncan Hunter, so
a full morning.
My cable company did not get the memo about the clocks changing next week instead of this week, so it has already “fallen back”.
If anyone is relying on preprogrammed taping, check your video provider’s clock.
Steffie may try to spin Duncan Hunter & Dianne Feinstein to Bush admn.debacle. Also, expect him to press McCain on “torture” & Attorney Gen. nominee’s refusal to express opinion on water boarding.
NBC MEET THE PRESS....3,854,000 ABC THIS WEEK.........2,563,000 CBS FACE THE NATION...2,312,000 FOX NEWS SUNDAY.......1,646,000Not really a good week for FNS a couple of weeks ago, but a good week for MTP. As always ratings are derived from Nielsen ratings for both live broadcasts and, in the case of FNS and MTP, replays in prime time on Fox News Channel and MSNBC respectively. Numbers indicate total number of viewers for the October 14, 2007 airings.
FNS may be worth listening to, for a change. I may even try abc.
Why did the clock change? DST isn’t until next week, is it?
Could be... my suspicion is that it’ll be all-wildfires all the time and they’re just bringing Hunter on to bury him so that they can say “we had him on, remember?”
Make no mistake about it, the spotlight will be front and center on McCain this morning.
The voters had a temper tantrum... -Peter Jennings, ABC World News Tonight, 1994
Right...
The problem is that for the past 20 years or so it’s been this week. However, two years ago, after the post-Katrina spike in gas prices the infinite wisdom of Congress decided to extend daylight savings time into November in their little energy bill, claiming it’d save energy. Now we’re going to have to wake up in the dark for the next week and it’s screwed up a bunch of people who forgot Congress’s edict (and computers that didn’t get updated).
Clarification: when I say “all-wildfires, all the time,” that only applies to when Hunter and Feinstein are on.
Daylight saving time changed this year. If one did not update their computer program, automatic clocks will have changed at the wrong time. I think you can update the program on Microsoft’s website.
I told her that the change was next weekend.
Peter Jennings was a smarmy Canadian liberal elitist snob who only got a job because his daddy was in journalism.
My computer clock changed....it was programmed to change on the last Saturday in October---like we used to do ;-)
One more reason I am glad to have a Mac! (It did not change!)
I wonder why that happened. Did your computer update itself somehow or do you have to manually change the clock?
