Not only the USS Liberty attack, but also why one of our greatest allies used Jonathan Pollard to commit espionage in the United States?

There is a reason that George Washington spoke of not having "entangling alliances" with other countries. He was a lot wiser than anyone that has led us in the past 100 years or so.

They already explained it back in 1967. The Liberty, which was in the middle of a war zone, was mistaken for an Egyptian ship.
