Not only the USS Liberty attack, but also why one of our greatest allies used Jonathan Pollard to commit espionage in the United States?

There is a reason that George Washington spoke of not having "entangling alliances" with other countries. He was a lot wiser than anyone that has led us in the past 100 years or so.

Fortunately, the US has never spied on any of its allies... (rolls eyes)

The USS Liberty was a mistake, unless you think taht ISrael could risk war with te US while at war with virtually every Arab state, or needed to attack a US ship but magically still cotrolled the US.

but also why one of our greatest allies used Jonathan Pollard to commit espionage in the United States?
Because Pollard came to Israeli intel with information that the US had promised to deliver but refused to because the CIA and State department are Arabist?
Pollard got what he desereved for treason. Sadley the CIA and FBI still decided to lie about what he did to cover up their ongoing failure to find Aldrich Ames.

"Not only the USS Liberty attack"

...oh, here we go again. It was a mistake, mistakes happen in war.

"why one of our greatest allies used Jonathan Pollard to commit espionage in the United States?"

Almost all countries spy on each other, even friendly ones. We do it too.

"There is a reason that George Washington spoke of not having "entangling alliances" with other countries. He was a lot wiser than anyone that has led us in the past 100 years or so."

I agree that Washington was wise, wiser than most we've had, but he and his cause were a great beneficiary of America's first entangling alliance - the alliance with Bourbon France that secured our independence.

...because those government UFOs piloted by Freemasons won't stop circling over our houses. ;-)
