“I don’t endorse giving licenses to people who are not here legally, but federal law does allow states to make that choice,” Chertoff said.

a more secure driver's license for U.S. citizens and allowing illegal immigrants to get a version. How secure can they be if they're giving them out in ANY version to lawbreakers?

Coming to a flight near you: terrorists, fugitives from justice and other people scamming the system, with the outright help of this communist who doesn’t care about you and me.

Spitzer’s strategy is to enfranchise millions of illegals to vote in 2008. The New York Republican Party needs to bring this to court and call it what it is: Criminal voter fraud and election fraud conspiracy.

The SPP (Bush’s front group) wants to create a North American license.

The deal comes about one month after New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer announced a plan whereby illegal immigrants with a valid foreign passport could obtain a license. How many illegal immigrants have valid foreign passports? Mostly just overseas immigrants would be my guess.
The agreement with the Homeland Security Department will create a three-tier license system in New York, the largest state to sign on so far to the government's post-Sept. 11 effort to make identification cards more secure.
Ah, that'll fix it. /s
Government is the definition of stupid.

"I don't endorse giving licenses to people who are not here legally, but federal law does allow states to make that choice," Chertoff said. Scumbags. It's only "allowed" because it was stuck in the fine print of the RealID act.

Every action they take that pushes us closer to the “day of reckoning” is progress. Why pretend any longer that all of this crap is going to be resolved peacefully?

A third type of license will be available to undocumented immigrants. Spitzer has said this ID will make the state more secure by bringing those people "out of the shadows" and into American society, and by lowering auto insurance rates. This is only possible in a sanctuary state.

Every legal resident of New York should show up with no I.D. and an alias to receive the ‘new’ NY license. Holler discrimination if they won’t let them have one.
Gotta play the same games the politicians and illegal sympathists play.

The Bush/Calderon administration and New York agreed Saturday on a compromise creating a more secure driver's license for U.S. citizens and allowing, aiding and abetting illegal immigrants to get a version.

So now, hundreds of thousands of airline workers, security workers, voting place workers, Dept of Motor Vehicle workers, police, etc, from every state in the union, must be able to tell the difference from a “real” NY drivers license from the “illegal” license, -
even though the illegal license will look the same as the “legal” ID.
How stupid does the government think our citizens are??

their crossing easier, and throwing Molotov cocktails at US agents vehicles, and
setting fire to their observation posts? "

Just as Spitzer was facing a career-destroying defeat—one which could have hurt Hillary’s chances in New York as well—the traitors in this Administration hand him a huge victory. This is the biggest gift from the Bush Administration to the Democrats since the Sandy Berger wrist slap for treason. Mr. Hunter, Mr. Rohrbacher...time to draft articles of impeachment?
