“I don’t endorse giving licenses to people who are not here legally, but federal law does allow states to make that choice,” Chertoff said.
What a weasel...

a more secure driver's license for U.S. citizens and allowing illegal immigrants to get a version. How secure can they be if they're giving them out in ANY version to lawbreakers?

Coming to a flight near you: terrorists, fugitives from justice and other people scamming the system, with the outright help of this communist who doesn’t care about you and me.

That’s right....9/11 was a failure of our immigration system...and here we are 6 years later...it’s all a joke as far as i’m concerned.

Gotta’ be a specific individual who worked this deal out. All we need is her name ~ no doubt she’s down here in the DC area.

Spitzer’s strategy is to enfranchise millions of illegals to vote in 2008. The New York Republican Party needs to bring this to court and call it what it is: Criminal voter fraud and election fraud conspiracy.

The SPP (Bush’s front group) wants to create a North American license.
To: Sub-Driver
The deal comes about one month after New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer announced a plan whereby illegal immigrants with a valid foreign passport could obtain a license. How many illegal immigrants have valid foreign passports? Mostly just overseas immigrants would be my guess.
The agreement with the Homeland Security Department will create a three-tier license system in New York, the largest state to sign on so far to the government's post-Sept. 11 effort to make identification cards more secure.
Ah, that'll fix it. /s
Government is the definition of stupid.

You may have left NY, but that does not mean that this “new” ID system will not be coming to your new home or a state near you. This opens up the doors for others states to use NY as a guideline.

"I don't endorse giving licenses to people who are not here legally, but federal law does allow states to make that choice," Chertoff said. Scumbags. It's only "allowed" because it was stuck in the fine print of the RealID act.

Every action they take that pushes us closer to the “day of reckoning” is progress. Why pretend any longer that all of this crap is going to be resolved peacefully?

FOX News or FOX Business Network was interviewing a retired federal bureaucrat last night about this issue. He said the only explanation for Spitzer’s move was to put these illegals on the voter rolls.
