we will abide by the wishes of the family -- not [by the wishes of] some bureaucrat sitting in an air-conditioned office in Washington, DC, or some lawyer wearing a diaper back there whose main mission in life is to protect his own behind instead of standing up for the American people and saying enough is enough.
As it should be.

In the Southern vernacular, there needs to be a killin'.
To: Sopater
Bravo! This needs to be the standard response to this anti-God PC nonsense. We will NOT be told we cannot worship, and that we cannot recognize the significance of Judeo-Christian thought in our culture. ACLU be damned!
I seem to recall at least a couple of similar incidents. In one, a stadium full of football fans defied an injunction that forbade prayer before the game. In another, a class valedictorian gave a religious-oriented speech to the cheers of her classmates, even though some god-hater had tried to silence her.
This is true civil disobedience -- standing firm in the face of sanctioned wrongdoing.

I realize all y'all here are full versed in this, but just in case any casual passer-by gets confused:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

They fought for the right to ignore such a ban!!!
Go get 'em!!

Absolutely correct. What we need is to openly defy bullfeces rulings like this. Make them arrest people in the middle of services. Such video might not have made the MSM programs in the past (or present), but they'd be the most virulent of videos on this here Internet thing.
Fear no more, people!
(P.S. - Why couldn't that letter from Jefferson have been lost in the mail? ;/)

Good for them INDEED.
The ONLY way to DERAIL the train which is trying so determinedly to destroy the fabric, culture and basic founding principles of nation is through acts of massive
Civil Disobedience.
Tyrants MUST be confronted or, like wolves, will become more and more aggressive.

It was "undocumented worker". Yep, now they're displaying the outrage and indignation that Americans won't do.
