DOLLAR SKY IS FALLING! DOLLAR SKY IS FALLING! EVERYONE PANIC!
10/25/2007 | Philistone

To read the MSM headlines (which I try not to) the falling dollar is the end of the world. Maybe Wall Street should get a Noble Prize for their work in "Global Dollar Cooling". But seriously, what are the effects of a weak dollar?

1) Increased exports. Last month's exports were among the highest on record. Trade deficit? What trade deficit? Boeing, Caterpiller, Microsoft, Apple, etc. all with surges in foreign export sales.

2) Outsourcing? What outsourcing? All of the sudden it becomes cheaper to employ an American technician than one from Bangalore.

3) Cost of living? (I love this part!) Since China has pegged the Yuan to the Dollar, everything we get from China costs exactly the same! Maybe this will convince them to unlink the Yuan. Then we'll REALLY see who's the best producer.

4) Buhh... buhh... buhh... but foreigners will stop buying American Treasuries! What? In order to buy Russian ones? Chinese ones? Venezualian ones? Give me a break.

A weak Dollar equals: more exports, more jobs, more tourists (spending money) and the same or higher standard of living.

Bring it on!

Ah, yes, the Chicken Littles are out in force today.

If Daddy lost his job at the gumball factory, I’m sure he’ll have no trouble finding another job with unemployment under 5%. But historically low unemployment among Americans doesn’t fit so well with the “Sky is falling in the New World Order” story you are trying to sell.

Carry on with the gloom and doom, don’t let the facts get in the way of a good argument.

Todd basically told me that articles from the Foreign Affairs and the Wall Street Journal were not good references on another thread.

The stuff you misremembered? Or the stuff that didn't prove the point you were trying to make?

I have given up trying to discuss anything with him as it is a waist of time.

All our wages are stagnant, because you read it in an article, that you can't remember? LOL!

Sorry, but my compassion is not with the Bolivian people. My heart is with the United States.”

What they basically do is print more money, making the value of it drop so they can charge us more interest on the debt they inflate by dropping the value of the dollar.
So..as of now our national debt is at about 9 trillion and they charge us interest on that 9 trillion. Making our money less valuable inflates that debt making it even harder for US and I mean you and I, and every citizen of this country to pay off.

Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution states that Congress shall have the power to create money and regulate the value thereof, NOT A BUNCH OF INTERNATIONAL BANKERS! Today the FED controls and profits by printing WORTHLESS PAPER, called money, through the Treasury, regulating its value, AND THE BIGGEST OUTRAGE OF ALL, COLLECTING INTEREST ON IT! (THE SO-CALLED NATIONAL DEBT). The FED began with approximately 300 people or banks that became owners, stockholders purchasing stock at $100 per share - the stock is not publicly traded) in the Federal Reserve Banking System. They make up an international banking cartel of wealth beyond comparison. The FED banking system collects billions of dollars in interest annually and distributes the profits to its shareholders. The Congress illegally gave the FED the right to print money through the Treasury at no interest to the FED.

The FED creates money from nothing, and loans it back to us through banks, and charges interest on our currency. The FED also buys Government debt with money printed on a printing press and charges U.S. taxpayers interest. Many Congressmen and Presidents say this is fraud.

I leave it up to you to research the rest.

You’ll probably notice that I’ve carefully not really engaged him in much real dialogue. I’ve already dealt with him handedly on past threads. I told him that I ‘liked not liking him’, just so that I could at least kid around a bit with him. He and I are on opposite ends of the spectrum with beliefs and he knows it. I point others to him as a perfect example of how NOT to think :) I kid with him and rudeboy1, just cause it beats getting pissed off. I like rudeboy1, though I still disagree with him on some major issues.

It’s fun to sit back and watch real newbies stumble onto Toddster though (lmao). They’ll bring themselves to a boiling point and then just blow up. Kind of funny to watch really. I don’t take Toddster serious at all :)

Protectionism (and advocating for the limiting of freedoms) is just so hip!

I am the last person who should be bagging on someone's spelling, though.

“The key to success must be we devalue until our currency equals Bolivias”

That seems to suit many big companies and the globalists just fine!

Only 17% of US companies are exporters.

Weeeeelll then . . .

This dollar fall is happening just in time.

Otherwise in a few more years with nobody buying our expensive stuff, it would be 0%.

Better ramp up that factory production Americans--all the world will be buying more and more stuff from us now.

They who?

So..as of now our national debt is at about 9 trillion and they charge us interest on that 9 trillion.

Debt held by the public is about half of that. And who do you think is charging interest on it?

Today the FED controls and profits by printing WORTHLESS PAPER, called money, through the Treasury, regulating its value, AND THE BIGGEST OUTRAGE OF ALL, COLLECTING INTEREST ON IT!

The FED charges you interest on that $20 bill in your pocket? How does that work?

The FED began with approximately 300 people or banks that became owners, stockholders purchasing stock at $100 per share

How much profit do they earn on that stock? Do the stock holders get to vote on raising or lowering interest rates? The FED banking system collects billions of dollars in interest annually and distributes the profits to its shareholders.

The FED banking system collects billions of dollars in interest annually and distributes the profits to its shareholders.

They can print money for free and all they earn is billions a year? How many billions? Who gets the earnings? You have a list of how much those scary foreigners got last year?

Something like 94% of exports are from just 4% of US companies.

And the other 96% of companies are mostly paper-shuffling leaches.

In 1913, a Senator, Nelson Aldrich, maternal grandfather to the Rockefellers, pushed the Federal Reserve Act through Congress just before Christmas when much of Congress was on vacation. When elected, Wilson passed the FED. Later, Wilson remorsefully replied, referring to the FED, “I have unwittingly ruined my country”. Now the banks financially back sympathetic candidates. Not surprisingly, most of these candidates are elected.

To this day. the Fed has yet to be auditted. Congress is to cowardly and the aint a sleazy lawyer in the world that has the guts to take them on for us. All it would take is a case in front of the US Supreme Court.

Wont happen.

Todd is nothing more than an intellectual bully, if he badgers someone enough, ignores what they are saying, and keeps ridiculing them, that means he won the discussion in his mind. Like I said, he is a waist of time to discuss anything with as he doesn’t seem to have the ability to think outside of his perspective or to listen to an alternative opinion without harrassing the person giving it.

You failed to read the bit that the Stock is NOT public and since they have NEVER been auditted, we havent the foggiest idea who the hell the stock holders are or how much or where it goes.

Good Lord man! This is common knowledge thaught to me in my civics class in my high school years! 1968 to 1971.
This is why we are being F*&%ed. Our schools are no longer teaching the TRUTH and are now teaching propaganda.
