Right-wing media machine coming off tracks Gene Lyons With the 2008 presidential election a year away, Republicans are running on empty. Polls show President Bush sinking to historic lows. Fewer than one-quarter of Americans (25 percent in a recent survey) approve of his performance. Most wouldnt mind if Bush would simply go away, provided hed take that snarling misanthrope Dick Cheney with him.

Tool Alert!
For those who don't know it, Gene Lyons has been pumping out bilge like this for decades for the Crinton's benefit on the pages of the Arkansas Gazette.
There aren't many people more coniving and pliable than Gene Lyons.
When the Crintons have needed him, he's always come running with little bucket in hand ready to bail.
Take a good look. Don't forget this troll.

Last poll I saw, Bush 38% Congress still holding at 11%. Talk about off the rails.

Funny, but he doesn’t mention that the approval rating of the Social Democrat controlled Congress is considerably lower that Bush’s. Just an oversight, I suppose.

Fewer than one-quarter of Americans (25 percent in a recent survey) approve of his performance. As opposed to the 89% who disapprove of the DEMOCRAT-led Congress whose approval rating comes in at a mere 11%!!! Go ahead, lefties, try to make a silk purse out of THAT sow's ear!!
Still, what Dems fail to realize is that Bush isn't running. They can bash him all they like and run against him if it pleases them. In the long run, they continue to prove that they are living in the past and unable to catch up to the present!!!

I don’t think so, but it has been a while since I’ve read of him. I’m not sure actually.
I think it’s time for a refresher course on who the Clinton players were. We’re going to be seeing them next year, and folks should know their history before buying into anything they say.

Seeing him again is a trip down memory lane. He can pimp for the Clintons all he wants, and he'd still have to pay $100,000 to spend the night at the White House.
Fool!

Don Imus always called Lyons “Clinton Buttboy”.
And the I-Man will soon be back on the air at WABC.
To the chagrin of “Satan”.

Malkin and a posse of rightwing bloggers did what Republicans always do: attacked the messenger, falsely characterizing his hardworking Baltimore family as wealthy freeloaders, and deriding the boy as a human shield for Democrats. Needless to say, Limbaugh also joined in the fun. Thats right, they smeared a braindamaged child.
Riiight!!!!So far as I have been able to determine it has been only freakin progressives that have called the boy brain-damaged. But, to progressives, facts are just false characterizations...too bad more of them don’t have character to begin with.

You said a mouthful there. That is what I think is going to be the dems downfall. Republicans don’t have a clear front runner yet but instead of taking on the republican candidates the dems are blowing their capital on a man who isn’t running. Is it Guinness commercials where the one guys says: “Brilliant!”

Yes, I agree. I had forgotten that he was the s—thead that developed a report to clear the Clintons of any wrong-doing associated with Whitewater. This report would be sited a number of times during the 1992 presidential campaign.
The guy had been an isider of the Clintons for a number of years, but nobody in the media thought that worthy of mentioning when the report was cited.
