I don’t agree with this, but actually the government does and should have the right to tell foster parents what to teach their foster children. Foster children are wards of the state. Their parents are the government. Therefore, it is the government that makes all decsions about the raising of the child.

Only once the parental rights are terminated, and the child is adopted does the child cease to be a ward of the state.

They sure tell public schools what they can and cannot teach!
