I don’t agree with this, but actually the government does and should have the right to tell foster parents what to teach their foster children. Foster children are wards of the state. Their parents are the government. Therefore, it is the government that makes all decsions about the raising of the child.

Only once the parental rights are terminated, and the child is adopted does the child cease to be a ward of the state.

We have a wonderful Christian family in our church who want to adopt a pair of children but the county won’t recommend them because they homeschool. It’s coming here folks.
