I confess. I do not hate Putin like many here.

He lives in a tough neighborhood compared to us.

anyone though who beats The Nose is ok by me.

Kasporov is right about Putin’s motives. Turmoil in the Middle East empowers any oil state. That is also one raeson why Saudi Arabia has been helping the Sunni insurrection.

That’s not the guy I have seen. He operates on the same level as a bright college sophomore.

From the whole clip i watched Kasparov poops on the USA as much as Maher does from agreeing with Maher about “torture” and using democracy only as a foreign policy tool and not being sincere, etc.

Kasparov should try combine chess with geopolitics, maybe then he`d understand the board moves.

Yeap, that's the most stupidest checkmate.

Kasparov could have beaten Deep Blue had the IBM techies didn't cheat. The programmers shouldn't keep tweaking their software after every game; they should left as is from the start to the end. I dunno what was the rule of the game. As to me it wasn't fair.

How life imitates chess, that must be interesting to read.

A decade after Kasparov's defeat, Deep Blue programmer relives victory to Garry.

The human chess masters try to learn from every game with an opponent. To me it seems only fair that Deep Blue and it's programmers should be free to do the same.

Since computers are perfectionist, Kasparov shouldn't have agreed allowing IBM engineers tweak their sofware or modify the machine while game series was ongoing. Even the IBM engineers said it was unfair. Also read my previous post.

[”...if Bush/Cheney had a tight control of the media that (democrats) does their approval ratings would be higher”]

Kasparov knows exactly what is wrong with our ‘Free Press’ and the ONLY reason liberals win ANY elections. Our education system over the decades have finally produced the ‘perfect’ Americans, ignorant and blissfully unaware.

Why would he not be in favor of it? He and his fellow travelers have elite status and won’t have to be subjected to it...just the ignorant masses.

But it was obvious from the very beginning, that Putin has just one item on his geopolitical agenda: he needs high oil prices.

Clinton knew this. He helped Russia reap big profits by arranging for oil production cutbacks.

Free Republic thread from 2000: Clinton engineered oil crisis last May

Oil ministers from OPEC nations have quietly told national security advisors on Capitol Hill that the oil production cutbacks -- and resulting price increases -- are being implemented at the request of the Clinton administration on behalf of Russia , Indonesia, Mexico and Iran.

Russia, Mexico and Indonesia are reported to be directing their increased oil profits toward paying back overdue Western loans.

According to one government defense adviser, the windfall profits are part of a larger scheme to use the American public to pay off failed and corrupt investment schemes in the three countries.

"The American public is paying off bad loans to bad countries made by bad bankers," stated the national security adviser.

“...superior intellect and verbal skills...”

Huh?

He can pile up lies faster than any guest can refute them. Guess that's a substitute for real intellect and verbal skills these days.

After Kasparov beat Maher in two moves, Hillary got Kasparov into checkmate with just one move...but they’re going to save the film of that for her coronation movie at the Democratic convention next summer.

The transvestite pole smoker made a point that Putin had high approval ratings. Kasparov zings him by saying if Bush/Cheney had a tight control of the media that Putin does (Making fun of leftist who think the Bush “regime” is as bad or oppressive) their approval ratings would be higher.

Yes, the Hostess pasty man stated something along the lines, "Putin has a very high approval rating..." Kasparov rebuts:"How can you tell in a totalitarian society?"

ZING!

Bill Maher is a colorful, eloquent and witty talkshow host, a comedian who has very high ratings and a dedicated following. Maher also tends to dominated his guests with his superior intellect and verbal skills.

Man how much bullshit can you pack in two sentence's?
