Agreed. Actually Thompson is my favorite but Hunter won this debate. This fact will, of course, never see the light of day(NY Pre$$).

Then you have explained why Hunter is dead in tracks.

Let's face it....Hunter is the possibly the best man but he is a WASP male who has never attended Yale, Harvard, a CFR meeting or lived in NY, therefore he will never get the money backing or the press. Our Republic is literally run by a combination of large "clubs" of which Hunter is not a party to.

It is a sad situation in this case and I grieve that a good man is being overlooked in this instance. I do hope he is part of the coming admin, at the very least. I believe if he was raised to the level of recognition that he truly deserves that he would be the people's choice in Republicans.

Because he says what needs to be said, and the other guys have to adjust their policies.

Look how careful the other guys are to avoid any criticism of international trade deals that hurt this country.

Alot of their money comes from donors who like it just the way it is- bad for the US.

...I didn't want to hear the fawning from FOX for Guiliani, Romney, Thompson, Huckabee & McCain who MSM AND FOX continue to pretend are the only ones standing there.

..they know he's articulate & attractive

..they know he knows his stuff!

It's getting pretty darn scary the way they ALL ignore him and try to negate his message.

Hunter is the best thing the Republicans have going.....he's not controversial like Paul....

..he's not angry (though truthful) rhetoric like Keyes...(& I like Keyes)

..He's calm, informed, articulate, witty.....he's everything folks could get behind, up front and alongside.

I don't think the Republicans want to win.....and that's a scary thought indeed!

I have not been a McCain supporter but I have to agree with you. He went up in my book last night.

Sure and John Edwards was an angel of mercy. Tell it to women who can’t find an OBGYN. The problem for the most part is God doesn’t carry malpractice insurance.

BASH.... McCain is the KING of BASHERS and his undermining and attempts to run Rummy out of town every minute of the day and night was NOT about winning a WAR. It is just too bad that McCain wasn't on OUR side instead of HIS side.

Rudy does have that voice that is reassuring and gives comfort and that is how all of the opposition programs were able to be employed.

So one has to be careful of what else is included in that seduction.

I’m sorry that John Birch isn’t running for Preisdent this year...I know that must disappoint you...but that f-em all attitude is definately not what the party or FR needs if we hope as a country and a political party to retain the WH in 2008.
