UPDATE: The city of Malibu is advising residents in Puerco Canyon to begin evacuating due to a wildfire driven by powerful winds. This area is north of Pacific Coast Highway and about 1 mile west of Pepperdine University. Residents along the beach on Malibu Road may soon be evacuated. Pacific Coast Highway is closed between Kanan-Dume Road and Topanga Canyon. Residents are advised to head to the west. Evacuation centers are being set up in the Zuma Beach area.
A wildfire driven by powerful winds in the Malibu Hills this morning threatened a university, destroyed at least one home and forced the evacuation of hundreds more, authorities said.

Yup that him LOL!
Maybe it’s a coastal thing....or a Long Island thing.
You are bad LOL!
The whole place is made of stone so it is hard to figure how it was “engulfed” with flames. But if it was, that was one heck of a brick oven! lol.
I haven’t driven out there in a long time. Most of my friends and family have moved out of there as the lefties and coastal commission made it unliveable.
The Los Angeles Trader Joe’s had its share of odd clientele. The stores never go into expensive malls or properties so there was always a diverse mix. OTOT, Whole Foods was filled with the snobs - at least the ones I went to, which was rare because it’s too expensive and I want my Campbell Soup and Friskes cat food.
Actually that church is famous church lots of old school Hollywood celebries went to that church or got marry in the church
One of its former members until he became governor of our state was President Reagan
“Ill reserve my compassion for innocents suffering real misfortune not waste it on the beautiful people suffering an inconvenience”
I lived in Malibu from 1986-2006. There are many conservatives who live there, but don’t get their names in the paper, or get on television because they aren’t celebrities. They raise their kids, worship at the local church, and live normal lives. I can tell you my old church, Our Lady of Malibu, was packed almost every day. You know nothing about Malibu other than what you see of celebrities, and their moonbat politics. By the way, Our Lady of Malibu is in the line of the fire right now. Happy??
“Similarly, the only problem with Trader Joes is that it is filled with Trader Joes customers....some of the snootiest, rudest snobs Ive ever had the misfortune to meet (Long Island).”
Must be the area. The one in Westlake Village, Ca. has nice customers, as well as friendly personnel. It is a Republican city tho :-)
Was she on KTTV? I figured she’d be yapping before long. How many times did she remind the viewers that she lives in Malibu and Suzanne Somers is her good friend?

Apparently the woman who owns the home is an heiress who let it be used for children’s charity fundraising. I haven’t heard about anything political yet, other than she helped out a labor union in NY a few decades ago.. something like that.
what city is that? not seeing it on the news
agua dulce looks bad
Yep - there was one a few steps from my old office; the clientele that shopped there would never, ever think of buying Two Buck Chuck.
“Most of my friends and family have moved out of there as the lefties and coastal commission made it unliveable.”
I moved out early last year, but I still have good friends there, and I miss the ocean, and my favorite cafe at Paradise Cove.
