To: Recon Dad

It certainly is a moving place. It is at the first portal wherein many Marines enter, after MCT.

My brother’s name could well have been on that wall but for the hand of God.

But the way I look at it, all of the names on that wall are all my brothers.

I believe my son said they brought them to the memorial either before or during SOI.

took these Memorial Day 2007.. will make the this years ceremony and post more

I went ashore 09/30/1982 as part of the initial landing, 4 0f the Marines on the Wall were in my platoon at the time and volunteered to return for the 83 deployment
