"I speak for at least half the people here, including the Founder Jim Robinson, who has stated he will not vote for Giuliani under any circumstance."
Agree.
Don't Cut and Run, vote pro-life every time. It's the way you always win.
We cannot diminish the value of one category of human life the unborn without diminishing the value of all human life. Ronald Reagan
Wonderful thread Jim, thanks for posting this! I am with you!
Thank you, ladyinred! Good to see you!
Abortion is murder. It is an abomination before God. It is evil.
Be gone, fool.
You are absolutely correct!
But you apparently are interested in intentionally distorting what he said to make it appear as if Giuliani said Ginsberg was a strict constructionist.
There will be no fewer babies killed in a Giuliani administration than in a Clinton administration. There is nothing in Giuliani’s long record to indicate that there is any material difference in policy stances or record in nominating judges than any classic Democratic pro-abortion candidate. A Giuliani presidency would not make a material difference in the number of abortions - it would, however, do long term damage to the Republican party and the principles that the party has historically stood for. Therefore, long term, his candidacy, whether he wins or loses, with cause much more damage to conservative efforts in many areas that most of us would agree on.
Regardless of it? Of course not. Because of his pro-abortion gungrabbing ways.
...will you be guaranteeing the increase in deaths of fetuses that will inevitably occur under a Dem administration?
Nope. The GOP will do that. If they nominate a pro-abortion gungrabber, they forfeit my vote, and the consequences of that action are theirs, not mine.
What is the "far right" and "theocratic thug" BS?!
You WAnkers are as bad as the DUmmies.
All of which matters not a whit as long as the Democrats are still in control of the Senate, as the Senate must approve the judges.
The ONLY way the Repubs regain control of the House and Senate is with Conservatives being in ascension, so we might as well get started right now. NO MORE RINOs! Vote Conservative!
Bullshit. There will be no difference in the number of abortions under Giuliani or Clinton. Both want federal funding, neither understands Roe v. Wade is wrong, both call themselves pro-abortion.
Short run maybe, but long run once you consider the Supreme Court nominees that the next president will get to make (most likely at least 2) and there will be a difference.
I haven’t stated as fact any outright falsehoods—or falsehodds for that matter. You’re lying.
Apparently you weren’t following, so I’ll recap. Finnman said something about “the conservative Taliban” or something to that effect...you don’t spit in your host’s eye like that...bad form as well totally inappropriate and a total mischaracterization of positions I’ve seen on FR.
Here, I compiled a bunch of quotes by various past and present candidates on abortion. All of them have made some version of the “safe and legal and rare” statement, but they are all 100% behind abortion.

Bumping your very well put posting.
I have never before seen a candidate I believe in as much as this election, and that candidate is:Duncan Hunter.
I don’t care about naysayers. I care about what is best for this country, and my children. I care that the candidate not only talk the talk, but walk the walk, too.
I want him to live like he knows he is a servant of God- as we all are, whether we acknowledge it or not.
I can wholeheartedly present Duncan Hunter’s message to my family and friends, without qualifications.
I hope I can persuade them to start voting again, but I can’t do that without being able to offer them someone credible, consistent, honest, prolife, and full of INTEGRITY.
FWIW to you, since you’ve mentioned it to me a couple or 3 times . . .
Will probably go find the Fatima docs and post to their own thread within a couple hours—of course, in the rel forum.
I got that part, YOU were the one who talked about the “far right.” The “far right” IS NOT a term that conservatives use to describe themselves, it is a term used almost exclusively by liberals.
Incorrect. Without the moral authority there can be no small government. If the Christian Conservatives leave, the Libertarians will not be far behind. Then you'll have nothing but the Rockefeller wing catering to the left as much as the Democrats. Which of those two survive is anybody's guess, but one will subsume the other. Meanwhile the Conservative message will go on.
