Fred Phelps talks about the Bible and Christianity all the time, doesn’t make him Jesus.

There’s this thing called Congress that Paul would have to abolish, too.

Like a Paul nomination, it ain’t gonna happen.

What if a Ron Paul nomination does happen? Would you support him, or Hillary?

I'm voting for a commander in chief

The only real Commander-in-Chief in the race is Duncan Hunter. Unfortunately, he's not viable.

It’s worth the time to find out why he’s so-well loved.

Ron "cut-n-run" Paul?

Loved by Al Qaeda maybe.

Paul flashes the Constitution much like Byrd does. Care to tell me where in it he finds the authority to do all the things you propose without congressional approval?

Let's see: slavery, destitution, mass murder, nuclear detonations in large American cities, chaos, anarchy, invasion and occupation. It's all a small price to pay for no longer being oppressed by Nazi seatbelt laws, which were somehow foisted upon a hapless and helpless people with no right to representation or to the redress of grievances, eh?

Luckily, the vast majority of Americans have more at stake in the survival and success of our nation than the militia loonies' sense of self-importance.

Get back to me if he specifically earmarked the money for the TTC.

Glad to, he earmarked it for the specific purpose of the I69TTC project, feasibility studies of the TTC. Not for a 'general highway fund'

http://images.chron.com/content/news/photos/07/07/01/paul_earmarks/Transportation3.pdf (2nd on this list for $13Million, not the first $150K one)

http://ttc.keeptexasmoving.org/projects/i69/

I69 doesn't fall into existing maintenance because it is part of the new TTC highway system.

Glad you realize that.. considering Duncan is polling just a couple of points different than Paul, maybe if the Real Conservatives who support Paul realize what he is and support Duncan, he close the gap and leave Paul to the neo-hippies and neo-anarchists.

Let's see: slavery, destitution, mass murder, nuclear detonations in large American cities, chaos, anarchy, invasion and occupation.

We have slavery now: illegal immigrants labor as slaves in our system. We have mass murder today, thanks to 60 years of multiculturalism dominating our immigration policies. We have anarchy today, because our leaders refuse to support the law.

And our borders remain open, and our Islamic immigration is higher now than it has been in decades. That atomic blast you predict with a Ron Paul presidency might just happen with a Giuliani "virtual" fence in effect and another eight years of immigration abuse.

The executive has the role of enforcement. Ron Paul can simply decline to enforce what he knows is unconstitutional. That alone would be a massive improvement. I know you could support that!

Loved by Al Qaeda maybe.

Al Queda's intent is to keep our troops embroiled in conflicts that draw attention to American interventionism. If you read bin Laden's interviews from the mid-1990s, that's exactly what he sought then. He's getting exactly what he wants.

With Ron Paul as president, bin Laden wouldn't be safe anywhere on the planet, as he evidently is today in Pakistan.

I don't have to read a thing of his to know I won't be voting for him, since your "supportive" statements here have easily discredited him completely.

Kind of curious. Where in the Constitution is Congress authorized to create statement honoring the establishment and recognition of a strictly religious holiday with no US cultural background?

There are no religious tests. Therefore we can talk about any religions we like in the congress, in courts, and in any elected office of the land.

Aside from his idiotic foreign policies, it would look like the Constitutional Republic this nation was founded as.

The Fed would be forced to cut all unconstitutional social programs. Charities would flourish, taking over providing safety nets for the underprivileged and providing far more competent support for them.

Those that lived off the government would be forced to actually pull their own weight.

Hopefully the federal public education system would go under, and privatized schools would take over.

Basically, heaven would be here on Earth :D

We can talk about whatever we want, I am not talking about ‘discussion’, I am talking about a Congressional law honoring the establishment and recognition of a specific religious holiday.

Large meteorites hit the earth on occasion. Massive volcanoes like Krakatoa explode periodically, causing thousands of lives to be lost and affecting the global climate for a few years. Ron Paul’s election as President is less more likely than either of these events.
