What the heck is wrong with so called modern artists? 99% of what they do is crap and very little is aesthetically pleasing.
THIS is real Vargas art:
ALBERTO Vargas, that is.
March 1943 ... "Actually, though, it was "Varga" who was popular. The name had been shortened to make it appear more exotic".
May God have mercy on this person who did this criminel act. :-(
Sick. That is all I can say.
I refuse to look at his “art”. The one sentence excerpt is enough to make what he did vivid in my mind.
I firmly believe that he should have the exact same thing done to him as punishment.
No doubt George Felos would say this guy helped the dog achieve euphoria.
No way am I going to click on that link.
But if this is a true story, this ‘artist’ needs to be put down.
Hard!
What about the actual death chamber for this poor dog, i.e. the 'museum' and its entire staff?!!
What about the government of this town and that of the entire nation of Honduras who permitted it?
What about their press and other media who did nothing to stop this outrage as well?
And most importantly, what about the entire slew of visitors to this museum over the weeks of this dog's slow toruture and death, who saw this poor animal in agony, this absolute atrocity, walked by, and did absolutely nothing!! The photographs show this animal is a wasted skeleton in absolute agony, waiting for just someone walking by to aid him - or show him any kindness in the least - but no one did.
The poor tortured animal was tied by a rope around his neck to a crappy wire which ran to flimsy eyescrews in the gypsum board walls in the corner of the room. He could have been rescued exceedingly easily by anyone - anyone who is a real human being that is!
Any staff who might have attempted to prevent this hypothetical resuce should have met the fate they deserve as well.
Also the fact that people on this thread even mention 'art' - the glorified feces of this world - in the face of this or similar abominations is absoutely sickening.
To comment upon this absolute atrocity and upon the inhabitants of this demonic pit of hell of a nation of Honduras - not that ours or its inhabitants is much better in the least these days - contact the Honduran embassy, consulate, and UN mission as below:

And lets not forget who funds this crap.
I'd like to see the same thing done to Guillermo.
I thought people in Philly were bad a number of years ago, when they walked by a pigeon, stuck in tar on a hot pavement in the middle of a very humid summer day. And yes I did help the pigeon. He got the best of care at University of Penn Veterinary hospital.
