My day just ended with a jerk!! I was triumphant, but he kept digging. Said all his checks were going to the wrong address and why were we doing that.
I looked up his check copies and read the “address of record”.....
Well that was right but we weren’t sending them there.
YES, we always send to the “address of record” and I was looking at his last 4 stubs, copies of the actual checks.
But....
No, that is where we sent them.
Well, Benefits told me you were sending to another address.
I don’t care what Benefits told you, I am looking at copies of your checks!! *sigh*
Well, don’t change my address.
Payroll does not change addresses, HR does.
Well, Benefits said...
It doesn’t matter what Benefits says, we send to your “address of record”.
Well, don’t change my address.
