A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 200,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world. Same here. Kliban was a favorite way back when. Another of his drawings I liked was the cat in the red sneakers. I don't have that one anymore.

Besides, it might be a good time for a catnap.

Dolly, my team is Colorado. My brother turned me on to them a few weeks back and they are good. At least we will have something to root for soon.

We (brother and me) are big Peyton Manning fans and Todd Helton (think thats right) had a scholorship to Un.of Tn. along with Peyton. Todd was great in football and baseball. He kept playing back up to the quarterback and Peyton was actually behind Todd and when it came his turn to take over quarterback position, he got injured. While he was getting better he noticed Peyton Manning throwing the ball and said to himself ‘this guy is great’. Now Peyton was gonna play back up to Todd but Todd made the decision after watching Peyton, that he would go back to baseball and he did. And of course, he exceled in baseball too. He plays first base for Colorado. I got a lot of research information from the computer and mailed to my brother in Georgia in a big brown envelope and he was thrilled. So you and I can chat about the World Series if yours is there! Very long in writing but had to explain about Todd! Later, Jane

we better hide this one from Maj, she will be drooling on her computer.

I had the rose Angel face when I lived in NC. It is a very pretty lavender rose but blossoms not very hardy.. well, most roses are fragile but this one was moreso. The blossoms didn’t last very long either. But there were very few lavender roses & so if you wanted them, this was in the collection.

Yes, I recall the red sneaker one. I think I had a mug with it. Maybe still do. I have things in boxes for decades.. It will be fun to see if anything is not rotted away from floods etc.

Remember the note pads & stationary also? There was also a little humor book if I am recalling correctly.
