Why are so many otherwise intelligent conservatives falling for his shtick? The never-ending 9/11 mantra? Even Evangelicals, Values Voters and Social Conservatives that should know better!! Huh?!

Hate to break it to you but it’s either going to be Rudy or Mitt in ‘08...and I’m supporting Rudy.

Go Rudy!

If that’s the case, then I see no point in voting. Rudy would barely be better than Clinton anyway.

Speak softly and carry a big stick.
Teddy Roosevelt.

Speak loudly and carry a small D!CK.
Rudy Giuliani

It's your choice as a free man in a free nation. That will last right up until Hillary beats Rudy because his nomination fractures the base.

Rudy will not be able to carry the base in the election. He is a fatally flawed candidate.

Most folks are "show me" types when it comes to Presidential candidates. Rudy showed a little too much. He came on strong after 9/11, but that is not enough to convince people he's a conservative. It's only enough to show that Rudy has basic survival instincts.

That's enought to separate him from the democrat party candidate, but not enough to make him a conservative.

History repeats itself and those who ignore history are doomed to failure.

Very recent history proves that you cannot win an election for a GOP candidate unless you carry the conservative base. Period.

It's both amusing and alarming that so many people are able to grasp the implications of so many issues from a conservative perspective, but are willing to forgo conservative principles when it comes to selecting a candidate.

When will it sink in that liberals win when conservatives abandon their cause? They problem here is that most Rudy supporters have allowed themselves to be defeated before the battle has begun. That is why they are willing to support a RINO instead of a true conservative.

I will not support him, nor Romney.

We need to be making liberals abandon their principles. Not surrender ours because the road looks too tough.

Surrender is not an option. The enemy promises NO QUARTER...

Rudy was a great big city liberal mayor. He would make a rotten President. I’m from the South. This is Fred country. Flannel shirts , pickups and a slow Tennesse drawl.

you said, "If that’s the case, then I see no point in voting. Rudy would barely be better than Clinton anyway."

There is a vast difference between Rudy and Clinton. If you help Clinton to become president, you will live to regret it.....I am praying everyday that the Lord will save us from that mad woman.

“Well, I’m a Republican mayor, but I”m really not. I’m the mayor of New York City. I ran as a Republican, I ran as a Liberal — which really confuses all kinds of people — and I ran as an Independent, as part of the Independent Party, which actually is now the party that’s supporting Ross Perot. So I ran a fusion candidacy, like my predecessor Fiorello LaGuardia. So I’m not the most partisan of Republicans.”

Wonder if this is on tape somewhere.
