EDWARDS CAMP GETTING JITTERY October 16, 2007 -- LOOK, I'm definitely absolutely for sure not saying this is so. I'm only re porting a reaction to the Enquirer's recent allegation that candidate John Edwards may have strayed.

I can't figure out what John's angel is. He does not now, nor has he ever had a realistic chance at the nomination. It would have taken a bizzaro world coincidence of events for Clinton and Obama to both implode, leaving him as the default candidate. And the chances of that are worse than slim and none.

So either he is a delusional mega ego freak who believes he somehow has a real chance, or he is getting some future benefit that we are unaware of. What could it be?
