I am so sorry about the passing of Ashton. It breaks my heart. It is not right that a parent should ever have to bury a child. I know. Lord, be with Ashton's family in this time of loss.
I am posting this - because I, also have been diagnosed with MRSA. (Five days ago). The antibiotics are not working, and I would be so greatful to have a little prayer.
My laptop is a good diversion, and being able to keep up with everyone and the great threads, has been a blessing to me.

Dear (((Yorkie)))... I first learned of MRSA when my mother was in hospital. Are you 100% sure that is your diagnosis? People do survive.

What antibiotics are you on? Tell me you’re being given linezolid or tygecycline and not merely vancomycin???
Also, depending on infection site, 5 days is not a lot of time for the antibiotic regimen to work. If you have an osteo (bone) infection, you could be looking at 6-8 weeks of treatment........Hope you get better soon!
