Thanks Kathy!

{{HUGS}}

I like all Outer Space movies, one of my favorites is Serenity. It’s based on the Sci-Fi TV series: “Firefly”.

Hi, Seven:

The original “Godzilla”, with Raymond Burr as reporter, Steve Martin was actually a rather clever idea cooked up by a B-Movie producer (Not Roger Corman, but one of his ilk) who bought the Toho film, “Gojira” and inter-cut scenes with Burr for American audiences.

Absolutely hated the CGI’ed “Godzilla 2000” and later Matthew Broderick re-makes.

If it ain’t some guy in a rubber suit tearing up downtown Tokyo.... It ain’t Godzilla!

Jack.

Hi, blackie:

I caught “Serenity” on HBO several months back. Which caused me to buy it and later, “Firefly” on DVD.

Great cast. Good effects. Extremely tight editing. Superb hommage to Frank Frazetta right after River’s battle with the Rievers when the Parliament Forces pulled down wall and River’s left; back-lit and still standing.

I missed “Firefly” when it ran shortly on Fox. After seeing the entire series, I keep wondering what the execs at Fox were thinking by axing it and “Space: Above And Beyond”?

PS: Joss Whedon is presently in negotiations for another “Serenity” film.

Rejoice, Browncoats!

Jack.

My MIL is an Old Sci-Fi fan, too. She loves the ones from the 50’s and 60’s.

Those Old “B” Drive in Movies are primo stuff compared to what passes today for the good stuff.

The talent on the writing side and the acting side just isn’t there any more.

They take their inspiration from comic books.
