I had to throw these kitties in!
It's hard to pick between Star Wars and Star Trek..... I love them both!
Forbidden Planet and Alien.
Top of the list is Star Trek II: the Wrath of Khan, which along with Star Trek IV: the Voyage Home are the best of the Star Trek movies, but IV is mostly California-based.
Star Wars, naturally. The first one. Or the first three, if you prefer. The first "first three", not the ones that were numbered 1-3. You know ... ah, forget it!!!
Aliens, the sequel had it all over the original Alien, and the others in the series (we'll just pretend those don't exist, okay?).
Total Recall: if had problems, but the special effects were cool.
Forbidden Planet, not to be confused with the off-Bway musical "Return to the Forbidden Planet", Shakespeare's long-forgotten rock and roll masterpiece, just because it's such a classic.
Others as they occur to me ...
Even before the ping to the new thread.
Good evening Mayor, thank you for the words from the Bible.
How about “Killer Clowns form outer space” or “Mars Needs Women!”
Howdy BIGLOOK! It’s good to see you.
The Alien movies sure were scary!
Great cast, great art direction, great story.
The face in the poster reminded me of "Enemy Mine", which wasn't too bad.
And what was the name of that movie about the alien race that came to Earth? It spawned a TV cop series (one human and one alien paired together). The alien dude gave birth in one episode. (Never saw the film, but I caught an episode once or twice because my brother loved it).
Forbidden Planet and Empire Strikes Back.
But one I can watch over an over is...
PLANET OF THE APES...
The original...
