"Thank you for your recent email. We would like to take this opportunity to ease any concerns you may have about a rumor that Mrs. Fields is banning Christmas items. Please rest assured that we have a complete line of Christmas and other seasonal items that will all be rolled out on November 1st, and we look forward to sharing them with you then.
Here are some facts we would like you to know:
1) We do have Christmas items, we have had them in the past, and we will have them in the future. The rumor that Mrs. Fields does not sell Christmas items is incorrect. A customer received incorrect details from our customer service center on our upcoming Christmas specific products last week, and we apologize for this miscommunication. The communications error has been addressed.
2) We offer our Christmas items in November and December of each year. During other times of the year, these items are not available to purchase as customers normally are not interested in buying them. In the month of October, we focus on our fall line-up.
3) If you wish to preview our upcoming Christmas gifts, we have made these items viewable early this year at www.MrsFields.com. The packaging materials for many of these items, which takes three to four months to manufacture and be transported, will not be at our bakery until November 1st, so you will see that many of the items are not available until that time for shipment.
Again, we apologize for this miscommunication. To express how much your interest in Mrs. Fields means to us, we would like to offer you a 10% discount on your next Mrs. Fields order so you can see the great items we offer firsthand. To receive your discount, simply order by December 1st and enter the code CHRISTMAS7 at checkout on our website.
From the Mrs. Fields' kitchen to yours, we hope to help to make your 2007 celebrations warmer, brighter and tastier.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Fields Customer Service"
Thank you.
BUMP for great freeping. We happily pummel the leftist Democrat scum here at Free Republic, so it only makes sense to reward common decency. Thanks to the Mrs. Fields company for remaining American and decent.
And not to worry, if the leftist Democrat scum want to boycott Mrs. Fields for offering Christmas items, revenues will be more than made up for by normal, decent Americans.
Aria, thanks for help in clearing this matter up.
Yes, thank you Aria. I feel kind of bad, I wrote them a really sarcastic email saying that I wanted to congratulate them on their cleverness in making a ton of money off of Christmas, and yet avoiding mentioning the reason for their bounty. Oops.
Whatever you do, don’t ask them to send you their recipe! ;-)
Hey, thanks for the 10% discount code!
A very thoughtful thing for them to do!
BTTT
Wow, a 10% Discount!
I’m glad you and Mrs. Fields cleared this up. I read about her in Wikipedia, and in various Google entries, and thought she sounded like a very wholesome and good person, so I decided to wait a while.
I emailed Miller Brewing about their support for "gay beer" and they never offered me any discount on their stupid beer. Whatup with dat?
Sounds to me it’s high time for a permanent ban on Mrs. Fields cookies by Christians.
I admit I only scanned the article and responded before I should have.
However, where there’s smoke there are burnt cookies?
I emailed Miller also and no reply. Jerks. I wouldn't drink their crap now if they paid me. I saw the photos at that supposed "fair". Those people should have all been arrested.
I got the exact same email! I also sent a rather angry email to them!

I checked the Mrs Fields web site a few days ago, she already had plenty of "Happy Holidays" items but no Christmas items.
So the "Happy Holidays" items are for sale in October, but the "Merry Christmas" items aren't... Interesting.
Re Target - ones here will not let Marines collect Toys for Tots. Said they don’t support war. I wonder with France leadership beginning to support U.S. if they will change?
