I think it would behoove folks to voluntarily put some kind of tracking device in their cars. In no way should it ever become a state of federal government mandate just something one should do for extra safety.

We all make those kinds of mistakes at times.
No harm, no foul. I didn’t see whatever it was.
Even in the worst of times related to this situation there is still some room to laugh. Don’t sweat it.
But coming out of this, the lesson to be learned is to check in occasionally on relatives and neighbors, carry a tool that will help others find you (such as a cell phone or On Star) and tell someone where you are going. Somehow, our loss can maybe be turned into something good for others.
