Ron Paul Revolution in Tempe Arizona

Supporters of the Ron Paul Revolution were evangelizing out on the streets of Tempe this past weekend, while thousands were in town for the ASU vs. Washington Huskies game at Sun Devils Stadium. It started online and now it's moving into the physical world, I'm beginning to see this guy's name in more places and I'm recognizing someone is doing a hell of a job at getting the message out.

Earlier last week I authored a blog post about Chiropractors Voting for Ron Paul and there were quite a few comments posted. One comment came from a Life Chiropractic College student in Atlanta and it was suggested that there is a lot of excitement for Ron Paul at the Marietta chiropractic campus. Several days later I was visiting Cleveland Chiropractic College (which recently received some fresh paint) and I noticed banners hanging on the fences across the street from the school, displaying Ron Paul Revolution messages. A week later and I'm at Arizona State University in Tempe and there are college students marching the streets with Ron Paul banners, is this all just a coincidence or is there a real movement going on?

I was reminded why one should always travel with your digital camera because you never know when you'll need it. I was on my way back to a chiropractic conference at the Tempe Mission Palms when the group of Ron Paul supporters began approaching on 5th St. and S. Mill Ave, right in front of Hooters and The Library. The guy leading the way was holding a poster that read "Ron Paul for Liberty" and he was followed by about a group of a dozen others.

Ron Paul for liberty

The next photograph I took shows a young guy holding a very large banner with a PVC frame, the banner reading "Ron Paul Revolution." The group was upbeat and was moving pretty quickly through the neighborhood surrounding the ASU campus. Passing by drivers cheered and honked their horns which had me thinking more people are excited by this movement than just those carrying posters.

I revisited an article I authored in September regarding presidential campaign web sites and it looks like the Ron Paul web team took my website advice and optimized the RonPaul2008 URL so that it does not split PageRank. It's only about a month later and Google searches for the term Ron now display 'Ron Paul' results above the fold.

As I mentioned in my blog post, I don't know much about Ron Paul but I have seen his name appearing consistently in chiropractic newsgroups and e-mail newsletters. It will be interesting to see which 2008 presidential candidates receive endorsements from national organizations, such as the International Chiropractors Association and the World Chiropractic Alliance. If anyone can offer information as to why Ron Paul would make a good candidate for the chiropractic profession to support, I'll consider posting it to Planet Chiropractic. You can reach me via e-mail by clicking on the yellow envelope under the title of this post.

I suspect that if it can be traced , it would lead back to Soros

No! It's coming from soldiers in foxholes. I mean, they said so on their donation forms.

...get real

I guess you didn't get the memo. A bunch of us here aren't doing "real". We're going to play make-believe 'til the Primary, and then we're going to pout and "Vote My Conscience". Then on to Phase II, which is to spend a year or two tearing ourselves to bits blaming other republicans for President Hillary. By the end of the second year or so we'll be too busy working to pay for Graeme's health care, x-box stipend, and beer money. At least that's the plan.

That they have the title Dr. is a tragedy, even large insurers will now cover their “care”.

Do they go to medical college? For 8 years and then residency? how does it work as far as their education?

My neighbor and his wife (who passed away last Wednesday night at a young age) are Chiropractors with pretty successful practices. He is the coolest neighbor we have ever had. He reminds me of Tony Soprano.

Libertineism sounds all good and sexy when you are young and think you should not have any responsibility for anything or anyone. Problem is none of you Libertines ever do without the safety net we, the responsible, portion of society provide for you.

None of you paid for your own schooling, you expect the hospital we provide to care with you if you get injured or sick. IF you get fired you expect us there with the unemployment check. It easy to rant and rave about the glory's of the Libertine lifestyle when you know full well you NEVER will actually have to put your butts where your mouthes are.

Society provides a great deal to you Libertines. We have reason to expect you to also be responsible members of that society in your turn. You people want to take and never give. That is pathetically self absorbed.

But don’t worry. Ron Paul will never be President. Ron Paul will NEVER be a nominee for President. So you can strike all your self absorbed self regarding poses about “Liberty” knowing full well you will never have to actually walk the walk Liberty demands of it's followers. You people don't want Liberty, you want License. Authority to do what ever you want when ever you want with no responsibilities or obligations. Too bad for you all life doesn't work that way.

Indeed it is.

The Socialist Case for Ron Paul

From the article

You only lose if you are totalitarian, which means you want to impose your laws on all states even if their citizens do not want your laws.

Well that pretty much discounts the social conservatives that believe the idiots in Washington know more about the social issues within the states than the citizens within their own states.

____

Nothing close to that though I think they increased the requirements over the years.

There’s no law against them being nice people, I was close with a family with generations of “Dr’s” of Chiropractic, (they practically WERE the Sopranos of Chiropractic, Dr. Joe being the Tony).

Having a successful Chiro practice means lying to people about what you can do and how often they should see you, albeit sometimes unknowingly.

Chiropractors and Global Warming are in the same category, very little science, lots of money.

I thought Freerepublic was a ‘conservative’ website; not a tool of the Republican Party (though republicans are welcome here), as should be other right-leaning people.

BTW: I am still a Republican, but am becoming dissillusioned.

Part 4; the republicans are laughing behind the scenes becuase they have ‘bought-and-paid-for’ your SOUL, and the country can continue as usual down the liberal prim-rose-path!

"Any honest chiropractor will have to admit their legitimacy ends as an adjunct to physical therapy."

What an ignorant statement! Chiropractic patients live longer, remain functional in their professions longer, rarely have serious diseases, and live without fear.

WATE Knoxville just gave the BCS rankings with Ohio St. at #1 and South Florida at #2. They said without any embellishment “it would be the equivelent of Hilllary vs Ron Paul”. LOL! (I leave it to you guys to figure out who is who!)

"Doesn’t Ron Paul want to concede the War in Iraq? Or am I missing something?"

I think that what you missed is that RP wants the votes of that group, and the votes of many other disaffected fringe groups, and it is beginning to look like he will get them, even if they are mutually contradictory.

I’m assuming you’re being sarcastic! You can find many other dubious unscientific claims on just about any Chiropractors website/literature.

It is.. but the die hard Republicans on this site will insult and demean you if you go against what they believe. I use to be a member of the Republican Party but now I am in independent voter who leans to the conservative side in politics because of some of the "Republicans" on this system
