Another interesting read, which can't be posted as a thread.
The Socialist Case for Ron Paul
http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/016107.html
I’m a recent convert and I now have two upset, fellow Republicans almost converted also.
What are you Paul supporters going to do when he loses the Republican primary ? Will you urge him into third party mode ?
I hope so , as he will take more Dim votes than Republican votes .
Paul is getting a rather large infusion of funds from somewhere . I suspect that if it can be traced , it would lead back to Soros or the Dims .... although that is just speculation at this point .
I would consider third party if somebody as liberal as the most conservative democrat was nominated as a Republican (which includes Mitt, Rudy, and John).
Hah! You can count on that.I see those signs all over here north of Atlanta.I ain’t buying their sale.No thanks soros.
Ron Paul has as much a chance of being elected POTUS as I have of being appointed Emperor of the Universe. Republicans need to start “getting real”.
Well we hope you recover your sanity soon.
If it’s somebody like Duncan Hunter or Fred Thompson, I will vote for them; if it’s a R.I.N.O., what’s the difference? A liberal is a liberal, no matter what party he belongs to.
Doesn’t Ron Paul want to concede the War in Iraq? Or am I missing something?
Yup. Tancredo would be a fine choice as well.
This was written by a socilaist????
"Ron Paul is running for a federal position and is committed to a small federal government. A small federal government will consume fewer taxes and impose fewer burdens on the individual states."
This election cycle is making less and less sense every day!
O Please, the soros conspiracy crap rivals that of the paulites.
Say what you will about him, but this guy does get real fans: idealistic, disenchanted, kooky, but fans none the less. I’ve seen his little scoreboard he keeps on his website, it’s real people.
I don’t like Paul’s views at all on the war, but I’ve stopped being so juvenile about attacking him.
So the key to the Ron Paul campaign is basically SEO and Google Rankings? Curious. I wonder what the Founding Fathers would have thought about that since RP quotes them so frequently (and he probably couldn’t tell you what his Google PR is at any point in time).
Congrats. Could you guys possibly convince the other anti-war socialist groups to support Paul instead of Hillary since Paul is far more a geniune anti-war candidate then Hillary is? You guys could create the new Green Party and do what that pathetic, impotent Lebanses loser failed to do in 2000 or 2004. I’d appreciate it.
By the way, if people (who are Paulistas)call themselves former-Republicans, aren’t shouldn’t they be looking to start their own forums somewhere instead of using ours which support candidates who ARE trying to win the GOP nomination?
Same here . They made a major push this weekend all over. They even had enough signs to spare to leave behind . No other campaign , on either side , has that kind of resources to pay for those kinds of expendable campaign expenditures in this stage of the game .
The money is flowing Liberally from somewhere ....
A recent convert to what?
And why are you going two upset republicans?
What are almost converted republicans?
Chiropractors, the people who put the “CRACK” in crack-pot have found their natural candidate in Ron Paul.
Any honest chiropractor is honest with themselves will have to admit their legitimacy ends as an adjunct to physical therapy. Unfortunately, most of them have drunk deeply of the Kool-Aid and think they can solve most anything, encourage their patients against childhood vaccinations and a host of other quackerations (my word).
That they have the title Dr. is a tragedy, even large insurers will cover their “care”.

He’s got an excellent chance of getting more votes thanhe did in 1988.
On the ballot in 46 states and the District of Columbia, he placed third in the popular vote with 431,750 votes (0.47%), behind Republican Bush and Democrat Michael Dukakis.
I would argue there are not republicans who are for RP.
There is a fringe group of anti-American (you know blame America first, we have no foreign enemies no such thing as a allies, can’t we just talk to these people), anti-semetic (Iran doesn’t really mean what they say about wiping all Jews off the face of the earth), 9/11 truthers, who do not have a clue about monetary policies or the constitution.
OR they are just plain ignorant of what RP actually says and does.
