My e-mail just sent to my Senator:
Senator Salazar, while I didn’t vote for you, you still represent the fine state of Colorado where I live, raise my kids, work and play.
Why did you take time from your day to sign a letter demanding repudiation for comments NOT made by a talk show host and yet do NOTHING regarding the MoveOn.org attack on an active General during war time?
Please stop being used like a tool by liberals and do your job. You and your fellow signers have made fools of yourselves. This behavior is a well established pattern for the likes of Reid, Boxer, Byrd, Feinstein, Kennedy and Leahy, and I am still hoping you will not join that extremist group. As someone who is representing ME, I can assure you I do not agree with your signature being on that document.
Excellent!
Rush Limbaugh's insinuation that members of the military who question the Iraq war are phony soldiers serves as another example of how the national debate over our Iraq policy has been largely characterized by overheated rhetoric. It is obvious that neither you nor your staff took the time to view and hear ten minutes worth of video of Rush Limbaugh's remarks. That makes you lazy and incompetent. Unfit for office. I will be glad to volunteer my efforts to unseat you in the next election to whoever wants it.
Where is your condemnation of Sen. Kerry's remarks that our troops "terrorize women and children in the dead of night."?
Where is your condemnation of Cong. John Murtha who accused U.S. Marines of "cold blooded murder" before they had even been charged? Now they have all been exonerated.
Where is your condemnation of Sen. Dick Durbin for equating our servicemen in Cuba with "Stalin, Mao Tse Tung and Pol Pot."?
You are not only lazy and incompetent you are a hypocrite. Private citizens exercising their 1st Amendment rights are not open to your condemnation in your official capacity as a Senator. Stick within the bounds of the Constitution.
