Actually, it might make an interesting segment for Rush to discuss what the actual income tax treatment is for this sale and disbursement, along with what kind of documentation he will need in the event the IRS audits this transaction. The proceeds go to charity. I doubt any paperwork other than the handover of the loot to the Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation will be needed. I hate taxes and am the first to admit that tax law is something I know nothing about.

I think it’s worth an few eMails from each of us to alert some high rollers that they’ve got an opportunity to stand up for the families of our troops and police officers.

I love the way Rush challenged the Libs to match the donation $ for $. Rush will probably match the winning bidder's amount with a donation out of his own pocket, just as an extra twist.

"But dont expect it until the auction is almost over." My thoughts exactly. The serious bidders won't even enter the fray until Thursday.

The Senate Democrats are following after their old buddy Dan Rather in their “ Dan Rather CBS moment “ ..... at least we can give them a A + for effort in learning from the Best is slander&smear good old Danny.

My e-mail just sent to my Senator:
Senator Salazar, while I didn’t vote for you, you still represent the fine state of Colorado where I live, raise my kids, work and play.
Why did you take time from your day to sign a letter demanding repudiation for comments NOT made by a talk show host and yet do NOTHING regarding the MoveOn.org attack on an active General during war time?
Please stop being used like a tool by liberals and do your job. You and your fellow signers have made fools of yourselves. This behavior is a well established pattern for the likes of Reid, Boxer, Byrd, Feinstein, Kennedy and Leahy, and I am still hoping you will not join that extremist group. As someone who is representing ME, I can assure you I do not agree with your signature being on that document.

In Parade today under the “Ask Marilyn” (vos Savant who’s listed in the Guinness Book of World Records Hall of Fame for “Highest IQ”) she asks the following question and wants responses: “Rush Limbaugh is a popular radio host. But what if he was a Supreme Court Justice instead? Email your one-line response to marilyn@parade.com.” Sounds to me like she needs Freeper response instead.
