UNFIT TO PRINT? [Medal of Honor to Long Islander in every NY paper but NY Times]
New York Post ^ | October 13, 2007 | New York Post

Posted on 10/13/2007 8:14:14 PM PDT by Fitzy_888

Every major daily paper in New York took note of President Bush's deci sion to bestow the first Medal of Honor of Operation Enduring Freedom on Navy SEAL Lt. Michael Murphy - a Long Islander who gave his life for his country and his fellow SEALs.

Every paper but one, that is.

And it shouldn't be particularly hard to guess which one.

By now, most folks know exactly how much The New York Times despises the U.S. military.

How it detests any mission that involves U.S. troops - whether to protect Americans by killing terrorists or to help stave off a bloodbath in the Middle East.

How the paper works tirelessly to promote its anti-war, anti-military agenda - even in its supposedly objective news pages.

So while Bush's announcement merited stories and appreciative editorials in The Post, The New York Sun, the Daily News and even the front page of liberal Newsday, it shouldn't be all that surprising that the Times didn't publish a single word about Murphy's well-deserved honor.

Pinch Sulzberger is unfit to be a member of a decent society, or to shine a real man’s shoes. Lt Murphy was a better man than he could ever dream of being, and he knows it.

RIP Lt. Michael Murphy. Your nation honors your sacrifice. May God take you to Him.

As for the NYT: Die all you worthless, Godless commie socialists.

Pinch was a political activist in the Sixties, and was twice arrested in anti-Vietnam protests. One day, the elder Sulzberger asked his son what Pinch calls, "the dumbest question I've ever heard in my life." If an American soldier runs into a North Vietnamese soldier, which would you like to see get shot? Young Arthur answered, "I would want to see the American get shot. It's the other guy's country." Some Sixties activists have since thought better of their early enthusiasms. Pinch hasn't.

They’re too busy trying to tip the applecart in Turkey. They want even more American blood on their hands.

Their hatred blinds them ... the Times is getting pathetic.

Disgusting. The Post did leave out the part where the nyt published leaked, classified information that undermined the fight.

Lt. Michael Murphy honored the uniform unlike that other POS, JFnK, with medals barely earned if at all. May the real sailor rest in peace.

“Indeed. And let’s hope that intrepid shorts with deep pockets sell some more.”

This incident alone could tick off an awful lot of people, even in New York.

A couple months ago, I was on my way across state when I stopped in a local tavern for a bite for dinner. A group sat down next to me and from their comments and conversation, I soon gathered that one in their group - a very elderly man - was a Medal of Honor honoree. I got up, walked over and shook his hand. Its' not every day you meet a person with a medal of Honor. I told him I was thankful and honored to meet him.

He had a card that he handed out with his information on it. Pvt. Wilburn K Ross, U. S. Army. Medal of honor for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at risk of life above and beyond the call of duty near St. Jacques, France.

"He opened murderous fire on the oncoming enemy; killed 40 and wounded 10 of the attacking force; broke the assault single-handedly, and forced the Germans to withdraw. Having killed or wounded at least 58 Germans in more than 5 hours of continuous combat and saved the remnants of his company from destruction, Pvt. Ross remained at his post that night and the following day for a total of 36 hours."

Wow.

I am surprised that not one post (so far)refers to the NYTimes number one issue, and that is: Imposing the Homosexual Agenda on the United States. Their first target is the American Military, which does not want “queers” in its ranks! IMHO, so far the Times is winning. If they get a Democrat in as President “Katie Bar the Door”.

Thanks for sharing that info. America can never have too many heroes.

I’d pay good money to see a platoon of soldiers give Pinch an atomic wedgie...

And have it posted on You Tube...
