Therein lies the difference between Catholics and Protestants:

On the matter of salvation and judgment of the individual soul, Jesus is clear. Talking a good line means little; it's doing that gets rewarded.

Anne stated that Jews should be converted to Christianity?

Naw. Something stinks in Denmark. Lets get the correct context of her statement, before this gets ugly.

Knowing Anne, I wager that her remarks were directed to liberal socialist Jews who support the Democrat Party.

After all, the Islamofascists believe all Christians should be converted to Islam and are willing to kill to make that point. So I have a feeling Kyle-Anne Shiver has been had here, and looks quite ridiculous.

Anne wants the Jewish folks who do not support the US policy on Iran and Iraq, to do a little thinking , which would be the general motivation behind such a remark.

I’d settle for having Jews stop voting for demokkkrats myself. That to me is the really big mystery of Judaism, i.e. why any Jew would ever vote for a demokkkrat. Last time that made sense even in theory would have been back around 1934 or thereabouts.

I did not read the entire article, but I can tell you that when I read that a "person" makes a definitive judgment about whether another person is going to heaven or hell I just shake my head. Setting yourself up as He who judges, is a VERY dangerous business and is absolutely not part of the Christian tradition. Well, at least true Christain tradition. Only God thru his Beloved Son can judge a man's heart. God does not break his Covenants and He has a Covenant with the Jewish people.

Stop being Pharisees. Be humble and stop judging others souls....lest ye be judged.

Where the heck do you get that from? That is definitely not part of Catholic doctrine.

Regarless of one’s feelings on the Jews your take on the New Testament essentially rejects the entire body of Reformation Theology. If you want to accept a works based theology against the entire weight of scripture and informed commentary over the last 500 years so be it. We’ll have to agree to disagree and I’ll still buy you a cup of coffee if we ever bump into each other. I do agree with you a lot of people who think they are Christians are going to be surprised and that Mat. 7:22-23 are the scariest verses in the Bible.

The author claims to be a Catholic and seems to be expressing his idea of Catholic dogma. Actually, I didn’t think he got right but I didn’t want to speak for the Catholic Church.

Read the three Biblical quotes in italics. I think you’ll get a different impression.

Apparently, Jerry Falwell had a change of heart regarding Jews getting into Heaven.

Yadda, yadda, yadda, blah, blah, blah. The left spends as much time trying to catch Ann in rhetorical tricks as they do Rush. They can’t make legitimate arguments against conservatives, so they lie and twist their words in a vain attempt to smear the people they can’t compete with.

Are you Catholic. Do you think he got the Catholic view of redemption right?

Jesus' birth, life, ministry, Passion, and death provides expatiation of the Sin of the world -- past, present, and future. The price on humanity's collective head for turning against God has been paid in full.

But it's not a Get-out-of-jail-free card for every individual; it serves whatever purpose God ultimately decides Himself. God and God alone will decide.

Huh?

GOD ALREADY DECIDED and says in His Word that ALL WHO BELIEVE in Jesuse ARE SAVED. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Am I misunderstanding this guy or is he making no sense at all?

He claims to believe the Gospel but then turns around and says it's "not a Get-out-of-jail-free card" for everyone?

The Gospel is offered to "everyone" and if it's NOT, then the scriptures are lies and we can't believe anything they say.

What is this guy talking about?

Yeah that does, but I was commenting on the Falwell quote.

"Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?"  Then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers."

It is very true that those who profess Christ with their lips and deny Him with their actions will not see the Kingdom of Heaven, whether they "claim" to Christian or not.

"Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 10:32-33).

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth" (Romans 1:16).

So how can some one who denies Jesus as their Savior enter the Kingdom of Heaven?

This verse shouldn't confound or scare anybody.

All it really says is that God knows what's in people's hearts.

If they are being real or phony.

I find the idea God knows my heart not scarey, but comforting.

Not because I am so convinced that I a such a good and sincere person, but because God knows who I am with all my faults and yet has been so merciful and good toward me.

We have several threads that have the exact transcript. One of them discusses the fact that so terribly many MSM folks have apparantly not read that script.

The author of one such piece noted that those who have read the transcript know that it's Deutsch who puts words in Ann's mouth about Jews who "need" to be "perfected". She simply didn't say that.

This Kyle-Anne Shiver seems to have not even read the MSM discussions of the event, to say nothing of not having read the transcript.

She is bearing false witness.
