This amnesty thing is not going away. It will come back again and again until it is passed in some form. Big business wants it and so do the Democrats. The Dems want the voters business wants the cheap labor.
Keep fighting but I’m not optimistic.
Hardly a joke. It came out last year that in Texas whites were in the minority.
I was wondering why the MSM was pushing this guy up to be one of the “top tier” candidates, and was especially curious because he’s a pro-life Christian (whom they would normally detest). But I guess Huckabee’s pro-amnesty agenda was enough to put him over the top.
This statement probably wouldn't have been an issue had he interjected one word in the sentence:
"...open its spirit to people who come legally because they want...
Without that word, he loses my support.
Huckabee needs to be moved out of the race.
These dead end candidates are staying in because all they need is a plane ticket and a hotel room to show up and get free PR.
This looks like a case for Travis McGee.
Do presidential candidates get to keep the dollars they raise, whether they win or not?
Who really cares what skin color our citizens are?
I’m concerned what country they are loyal to.
Texas has a rich history of loyal Americans who happen to have Mexican heritage, that’s great.
What isn’t great, is the flood of third world, gang infested illegals coming over.
They are not loyal Americans and could care less for our ideals, values, and history.
We need to get rid of, and stop the flow of these types; most of whom happen to be Mexican and central American.

Mike Huckabee told a captive audience Wednesday that America is great because it has always opened it doors up to people seeking a better way of life. Governor Huckabee risks political fortunes to denounce immigration raid
LITTLE ROCK (AP) -- Gov. Mike Huckabee says he's not afraid of risking his political future by speaking out against a recent immigration raid at an Arkadelphia poultry plant even though calls to his office have been "about 1,000 to one" against his stance.

I'm not laughing.
Thanks for the ping, NRT.
Great point, given that the MSM never mentions patriots in the race like Tancredo and Hunter.
Nor am I!
Early on (before I really looked him over) I thought Mike Huckabee to be a real possibility. Not anymore!
Add Spitzer to the list too. There's no shortage of these clowns, they're everywhere and they can't wait to sell us out for votes or money.
If the GOP doesn’t get off their dead asses and flush this RINO crap from the party they are setting up the DNC for a win. When is the convention / nomination ? June ?
Never ever trust a Pol from AR...Huckabee is a disgrace.
Several open borders Republican candidates have been successfully flying under the radar since the immigration debate died down: Huckabee, Giuliani, Brownback, and McCain.
The issue needs to come back in the debates and all four of these outed so the voters will remember where they stand. Giuliani would be Jorge all over again.
The only thing about Huckabee is at least he’s open about it. There’s too many who say one thing to get elected then do exactly the opposite. Jon Kyl is one of them and what a traitor he is.
