"Mom and Dad" as well as "husband and wife" have been banned from California schools under a bill signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who with his signature also ordered public schools to allow boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose.
"We are shocked and appalled that the governor has blatantly attacked traditional family values in California," said Karen England, executive director of Capitol Resource Institute.
"With this decision, Gov. Schwarzenegger has told parents that their values are irrelevant. Many parents will have no choice but to pull their children out of the public schools that have now become sexualized indoctrination centers."
"Arnold Schwarzenegger has delivered young children into the hands of those who will introduce them to alternative sexual lifestyles," said Randy Thomasson, president of Campaign for Children and Families, which worked to defeat the plans. "This means children as young as five years old will be mentally molested in school classrooms.
"Shame on Schwarzenegger and the Democrat politicians for ensuring that every California school becomes a homosexual-bisexual-transsexual indoctrination center," he said.

Ya think? There’s never need for facts around here when there’s a chance to bash California. There’s nothing about banning the words “Mom” and “Dad” in the bill, nor allowing boys to use girls’ restrooms. If in fact transgendered kids were allowed to use opposite sex facilities those numbers would be so small as to be minuscule. While I can see that there might be negative effects of this legislation in practice, it isn’t going to change much that isn’t already going on.

California will have a lot of allies: Washington; Minnesota; Massachusetts; Oregon; New York; Illinois; New Jersey; Hawaii; just to name a few. America hasn’t been this divided since 1860. The distrust and outright hatred is palpable. We are getting closer to a seismic social and political explosion. God help us.
So, because the socialists and RINOs are going to foist this on private schools too, leave your kids in public school. OK.
What’s interesting is that this is so believable. That’s the corner the libs have painted themselves into, any PC idiocy is believable.
So, leave your kids in public schools, so that they WON’T be OK too. That helps.
Hold the phone. There are a few of us true blue conservatives still living in California. Most of us are in the Fresno/Central Valley area.
You can blame California “Republicans” for this mess and we tried to warn them not to support Schwarzenkennedy but they would have none of it.
As we speak these same “Republicans” are marching lock step on behalf of Giuliani who IN HIS OWN WORDS promised to run the country like Schwarzenegger runs California.
Again, don’t blame me, I voted for and walked precincts for Tom McClintock.

I’m originally from California. I left it thirty years ago, when I was in my late twenties, because it had changed so much that I didn’t recognize it anymore. I thought then it was fast becoming a cesspool of multicultural gimicks and a haven for political pimps with socialist agendas back then, and I bolted. It is light years worse now.

I agree with you. I also love California, although there are some wacky people in power here, but I am sick of FR people bashing Californians too.
My whole family is here. I am a young widow and Home Schooling is not an option with my work, but even not being able to really afford it, I have done everything I can to send my son to a Christian School. We are not the morons, the liberals are.
It and lap-dog pundits like Sean Hannity better realize before a RINO like Giuliani wins the nomination. There is no difference between him and Schwarzenegger.

Degenerate minds, when achieve power over US, build the society in their image, their degenerate image. It starts as something of little consequence but something which belies the direction the societal engineers can use to accelerate the changes. ‘Ahnold’ is married to a woman who grew up in a devious family. He has lived his life disciplining himself but not from God’s direction but the direction of his flesh. He is incapable of understanding what’s wrong with his current direction for the state of California. And the lieberals tell us a man’s disposition toward God means little in his governing methods! Some (read Democrats) actually value deviousness now (’I did not have sex with that woman...’), as if there is no God seeing the degeneracy of society and the people. What’s that comment at the end of Judges?... ‘In that day there was not king in Israel, so every man did what was right in his own eyes.’ We see what that germinates!
