Adolf Hitler was nominated in 1939 by Erik Brandt, a member of the Swedish Parliament. It was withdrawn within a few days. Other infamous nominees included Joseph Stalin and Benito Mussolini. Nobel’s inventions included dynamite and ballistite..I never knew what Nobel did & found that interesting.

“It reckoned that his 20-room, eight-bathroom mansion in Nashville sometimes uses twice the energy in one month that the average American household gets through in a year. The combined energy and gas bills for his estate came to nearly $30,000 in 2006.”
If Algore was a Republican there would be a mini riot with them screaming about all the families with no health insurance for themselves or children who don’t even make 30 grand per year. It’s amazing that he, Babs and Edwards, etal, get a pass for their exuberant utility bills just because they’re libs, when THEY are the ones telling US how to live and conserve. It is nice to think that Babs dries her clothes outside on the line - NOT.

You want him to be involved in another Arkancide?????There's no such thing as "Arkancide". Hillary said so, and I believe her. Hillary would never, ever lie.

The strange part is that Al Gore didn’t make the film. He merely narrated it. This is like giving Sebastian Cabot an award for the works of A.A. Milne.

What has Al Gore done for world peace? He is now linked into the same class as the master terrorist, the aids-patient Arafat!
GW "terrorist" spreads scare in people's mind so that they more easily can terrorize you wallet!!
There is no difference between those two here mentioned!!!
The Nobel institution is a political scam to further their socialist's agenda!!!!

“Al Gore has won the Nobel peace prize.”
The words “insidious” and “stupid” need to get inserted into the above sentence somewhere, but there are so many possible and accurate combinations that I don’t know where to start.

With Jimmy Carter Jr., Kofi Annan, Yasser Ararfat, Nelson Mandela, Mikahail Sergeyevich Gorbachev being previous winners of the Peace Prize, I believe the prize lost meaning a long time ago.
President Ronald Reagan deserved that honor many times more than those stooges here mentioned. Why did he NOT get it, hmmmm?

“Just after Gore won an Oscar for his global warming documentary, An Inconvenient Truth...”
AL GORE DID NOT WIN AN OSCAR! He just was an actor in a movie which wont an Oscar for Best Documentary.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Algor is a hypocrite, a loser and has accomplished one thing, he proved that losers can receive nobels.

Politically, this is a good thing, IMHO. It makes it far less likely that there will be any push to draft Gore in ‘08. I mean, how can a Nobel Peace Prize winner sully himself by running for president? It’s like checking out the Help Wanteds after you retire as Pope.

The Nobel committee totally disgraced themselves with this one. There is no way to intellectually defend this choice. It is pure theater of the absurd.
