It was pretty obvious when they picked the head of the PLO that they weren’t really interested in ‘peace’ anymore but I guess this just makes it official since ‘global warming’ is about as unrelated to ‘peace’ as it is to music.
I mean, nobody in the world did anything to create or promote peace? Nobody? Bush created democracy for 50,000,000 more people in the last couple of years and he doesn’t even get nominated? Hell, killing Zawahiri has done more to bring peace in the Middle East than almost any other single action. Forcing Bin Laden to hide in a freakin’ cave so he can’t kill anybody else created peace. But NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Gore should win an award!
One for his marketing genius and his ability to sell, with enormous financial benefit to himself, what history will later show in my opinion, a massive hoax to the public at large.
As for science, with his successful ability to sell this junk to the general public, he has indisputably proven out the theory of “There’s a sucker born every minute.”

Perhaps this award will keep him out of the race. It makes for a nice payoff, does it not?

I am thinking.
Assume a dem is the next Pres {mostly due to internal republican politics and our falling apart}.
Would you rather Hillary or Al?
I have to say, while Al gives me a more visceral nauseated feeling, Hill is more dangerous. Al would destroy the economy but Hill would change the country.

least one could argue that from a warped vision of the world, Carter and Arafat were trying to accomplish world peace; What Carter and Arafat did was revolutionary in that they were able to determine new ways for communists and socialists to take property and payments without an army. Arafat and Carter caused killing on a grand scale and the European Socialists responsible for the Nobel Prize see benefits to humanity when property can be taken by those without capital.
Gore does much the same. Socialism spreads and taxes rise. Absurd theories with no basis in fact become doctrine when someone can be driven by fear to pay a government bureaucrat to make economic decisions.
