Fred was right. (Romney is a) Good actor.

Yeah! Right on!

Why can't we have a candidate who is more like Ronald Reagan -- a man who NEVER changed his mind on anything.....

Ooops. I forgot.

Reagan signed a bill legalizing abortion in California in 1967, and Reagan signed a law giving AMNESTY to millions of illegal immigrants.

And Reagan oversaw a budget which had deficits his entire Presidency.

And Reagan ... gasp!!! was once a Democrat##$%@#^....

Good thing us conservatives only support those who NEVER EVER change their mind on anything.

Thanks for adding that intelligent comment to the discussion. It isn’t just Romney that I won’t accept on the repub ticket.

But I think we need to give Fred a month or so to see whether he can perform more strongly.

Well, for me, it is more than just his poor delivery or his performance style. He opposes many of the things that I think will make this country a whole lot better. I can see supporting Hunter, but Fred doesn't support a state abortion ban, opposes the Marriage Amendment, opposes Tort Reform, won't sign the No New Taxes Pledge etc...And I still feel uncomfortable about his tendency to side with the McCain gang.

The bottomline is that time will not change the fact that I don't agree with Fred's positions. Romney's positions more closely align with mine (and the GOP platform). Of course, if Fred happens to win the nomination, I will whole-heartedly support him. Our guys are far better than any of the dem candidates. Mitt just happens to be the best IMO.

Good. We have to be team players or it won't matter who we nominate.

There are far too many people will a large list of GOP candidates they have sworn never to vote for. Not only that, but they use such bitter rhetoric to defend their own candidate and to trash others. I hope this is just an FR thing and not an indication of the GOP party faithful or we are in big big trouble.
