I’m against the death penalty. Not because I think it’s wrong to put a murderer to death. But because we might make a mistake and kill an innocent man.

I have no problem with swift justice in a case where there is no possible doubt of guilt.

On the flip side - I find it despicable that violent offenders are let off on technicalities and go out and murder again.

Essentially, the people releasing him are sentencing his future innocent victims to the death penalty.
