watch how he is portrayed as a xenophobe, a protectionist, a war monger, and everything else imaginable.
And that's just from the republican side of the aisle.

The expectations for Fred from his followers are VERY low, so it's not surprising that him just showing up and not saying anything stupid was a very big deal for them...
If Giuliani or Romney had put in a performance like Thompson's last night, they would have been panned with a passion...

Might help if you read the REST of what I posted. No connection to the media means no noticability. That is Duncan's problem, and the fault of his campaign. Whether you want to admit that or not, it is the core problem with his campaign.
And what are YOU doing to help? Letters to the Editor? Letters to the producers? Phone calls? Faxes? Email?

Mr. Skinner - may I please be added to your DH ping list? Thanking you in advance.
Have been keeping my powder dry when it comes to POTUS O8 but just made my first $ contribution... to Duncan Hunter.
In last night’s debate he and the Tanc man were the only ones who said that the acquisition of 20% of NASDAQ by Dubai was a BAD idea and they would oppose it. IMO that showed that they are the only ones who TRULY understand that the jihad is being fought not only on the battlefield, but in the financial marketplace as well.
Anywho - there’s my 2 cents... (and $250 dollars for the campaign)
Go DH!

Question for the Hunterites:
What has FDT got that DH doesn't?
I watched the debate and I thought DH was 10 000x better than FDT.
So what's the argument that FredHeads make to show FDT has a better chance of winning than DH?
If anyone can be elected on pure conservatism (I don't believe it, just so you know), it seems to me it would be Hunter and not Fred.

Suggestions? Press releases are sent to the MSM. Editorials sent to print. MSM is contacted. The MSM doesn’t carry it.

Whatever one may think of Ron Paul, he has followed tactics of developing a large base of small contributors and considerable numbers of enthusiastic supporters (even if many write them off as "tinfoil hat" conspiracists or drugged-out old hippies) that have worked to place him close to the first tier despite a blackout by both the MSM and mainstream conservative talk radio. His tactics are not unlike those used by Barry Goldwater and George Wallace, and later by Pat Buchanan (with less success).
A representative of traditional conservatism should emulate the tactics of the libertarian Paul, or they will be little more than footnotes like John Ashbrook in 1972 or Alan Keyes in 2000. Duncan Hunter, Sam Brownback, and Tom Tancredo need to draw lots to see who will be that representative. The winner needs to revive the large numbers of restive, and politically disheartened evangelicals. (Although neither is a Southerner, Hunter is a Southern Baptist, and Tancredo is a conservative Presbyterian of the James Kennedy stripe.) RINOs, like Democrat liberals, recognize two sacraments: money and votes. A conservative GOP primary candidate may accomplish much even if he does not win merely by forcing someone like Giuliani or Romney not to drift leftward after receiving the nomination in fear of losing the conservatives.
To: Wallace T.
Paul is not a libertarian. If he was, I would have more respect for him. Paul is a Log Cabin Republican and his libertarian followers should take him to the woodshed for lying to them.

I had a list of emails for a large number of papers and TV outlets, let me see if I can find it. I know I'm going to need it later for whoever is the nominee. It's about 400 email addys across the country.
I'm at work now, so it might be later tonight, or this week. I have a lot of backups to look through for the list.
You have to keep bombarding them, and from a variety of listeners/viewers. It's something you build a network of contacts. On calls/emails, then the others join in. But you keep it up, until you get a response.

If and when Tancredo and/or Huckabee leaves the race I look for Hunter to go into double digits. They are all splitting the true conservative vote right now. We just have to make sure he survives that long himself. Another $100 for Duncan today from me.

Thanks, but we have lists. The lists have been bombarded. Many keep blocking us and we have to fish up new emails for that contact.
The campaign contacts the media directly. We contact the media individually.
I’m telling you, they ignore us.

Thanks for posting the link. JustANobdy posted it on another thread discussing Hunter last night. He did GREAT!
If anything, he's too much of a MAN for the PMSNBC/MSM crowd.
People who want their own version of John Wayne should watch your link...HE EXISTS ...right there...right in front of you! Duncan Hunter a REAL Conservative.
