Too little at too low levels.

Until deportation happens at a mass scale, these are drops in the ocean.

It’s about damn time somebody started to enforce the law, even if it’s on a small scale.

Doing the law enforcement the feds won't do.

(Actually, due respect to the feds and all, their hands are tied because the US Attorneys won't prosecute immigration/employment violations. Need we be reminded that the US Attorneys are political appointees? And be further reminded, who appoints them?)

individual undocumented immigrants and their families, many who are U.S. citizens," Holguin said.

Yeah, they are undocumented Americans per Harry Reid! What a liberal bitch!

I have a question. Does anyone know if once these guys have been arrested and found to be in the country illegally, does any agency (sheriff, attorney, ICE) check to see if they have also registered to vote? They can be charged with a felony. I would also want to make sure that they are purged from the rolls.

‘’The worst consequence is not what the police do, but how the people begin to feel,” Rodriguez said. ‘’Latinos who are U.S. citizens begin to feel the police are after them.”

Waaaah! Feelings are being hurt! Someone PLEASE call Dr. Phil!

My God what an Oprah moment.

No sympathy.

These local enforcement measures are nothing but dog and pony shows. They are intended to assuage an increasingly agitated voter base. Five years from now we will still be in the same boat, only the boat will be sinking even faster.

Eventually this is going to be settled in the streets. You can blame congress for that.

The Feds have been anticipating this, and that's one of the reasons GWB has been pushing amnesty for illegals so enthusiatically -- the local govts obviously can't do squat if they're legal.
