I'm thinking of going to cafepress and having some t-shirts made up:
"End Aristocracy Now!" below would be two red circles with lines through them. One with pictures of GHWB and GWB, the other with pictures of Billery and Hillbilly.
Think it would sell?
And please, think before you post...
Dud.
please, think before you post.
Why? That takes most of the fun out of it...
think it will sell?
Will let you know, just put the shirt up on craigs list. thanks for the idea.
Maybe you should think before you post.
Are you voting for the Green Party, or what?

aristocracy
1561, from L.L. aristocratia, from Gk. aristokratia “government, rule of the best,” from aristos “best” (originally “most fitting,” from PIE *ar-isto-, superlative form of *ar- “to fit together”) + kratos “rule, power” (see -cracy). At first in a literal sense; meaning “rule by a privileged class (best-born or best-favored by fortune)” is from 1577 and became paramount 17c. Hence, the meaning “patrician order” (1651); and aristocratic “grand, stylish” (1845). In early use contrasted with monarchy; after Fr. and Amer. revolutions, with democracy. Aristocrat first recorded 1789, from Fr. aristocrate.

Even without these 2 candidates’ families we still have the ruling class educated at a handful of institutions with seats on the boards of corporate interests...
So, let me get this straight — we have a pretty much equally divided country in terms of politics and you’re out to alienate both sides?
I’ve heard better marketing plans.
Sometimes the message is more important than the money.
If he just wanted to make a slogan shirt that would sell regardless of the implications, he could make a basic Che shirt. College kids love him and so does Hollywood.

I do love most of my friends here, but sometimes they just don’t want to think in three dimensions.
There are LARGE numbers of people who do not want to see America ruled for another 8 years by the same families that have ruled it for the last 20.
Now who is the only current candidate for ‘08 who represents that aristocracy?
no
Apparently, you are correct.
Oh well, I’m used to it.
Sounds like you’re pretty creative — keeping on thinking; you’ll come up with something good ;)
“The real argument against aristocracy is that it always means the rule of the ignorant. For the most dangerous of all forms of ignorance is ignorance of work.”
- GK Chesterton
