Glad to see Liz Cheney involved! This looks like a group of folks who are plugged in to great fundraising and national campaign resources.
Every time I hear Howard Baker’s name it reminds me of a job I worked for a couple of weeks repairing a dam on an exclusive mountain estate in Cashier’s NC in the mid 80’s. This old retired couple wanted it repaired so they could hear the water splashing over it from their bedroom. Every day the woman would ask us when we were going to be finished because she was having a big party on an upcoming weekend and then would go though, over and over again, the entire guest list of the who’s who that were coming, always ending with, “and Howard Baker is coming do you know who he is”?
Now if they could just give him some caffeine and lift his energy level up a bit.....
Is this the best that he can come up with? Man, I thought he would be the guy. Now I’m back with nobody in that top tier that I want. Prayers are truly needed for this once great nation.
