Jimmy Carter has never met a genocidal murderous dictator he didnt like: Elders criticize Wests response to situation in Darfur.
As the Darfur peace mission of the retired statesmen known as the Elders came to an end, two of their number - former UN envoy Lakhdar Brahimi and former US President Jimmy Carter - chastened the West for its handling of the violent situation in Sudan.
The BBC reports that Mr. Brahimi - a member of the group of Elders that includes Archbishop Desmond Tutu, rights advocate Graca Machel, and entrepreneur Richard Branson - chastised the West for pandering to Sudanese rebel groups that may not represent the people of Darfur.
The BBC adds that although he praised the plans for UN-sponsored peace talks later this month in Libya, Brahimi warned that the West needs to ensure that the people of Darfur are properly represented at the talks.
Brahimis criticism of the Wests handling of Darfur was joined by that of Mr. Carter, who singled out the United States government for its use of the term genocide to describe the Sundanese conflict. Reuters reports that Carter called Washingtons use of the term genocide was both legally inaccurate and unhelpful.

Thinking people in the Real World: Carter's talk of... well... ANYTHING, is unhelpful.
Is he also demanding Webster change the definition?
It is what it is!
‘Elders’ criticize West’s response to situation in Darfur.
Brahimi says West ‘pampered’ rebels, while Carter calls US’s use of term ‘genocide’ to describe violence ‘unhelpful.’

Worst President Ever bump.
Hopefully Carter will end up in a stew pot.
What about Hollywood! That's their lastest genocide pet project.

Jimmah, nobody C.A.I.R.’s what you say.

Gee, I wonder why he doesn’t call out George “in the closet’ Clooney for saying the exact same thing (genocide) for the past nine years.....
Its also worth noting Carter’s ‘fellow travelers’ either hate the United States entirely (Tutu) or hate the Republicans in general (Branson).
Isn’t it about time for him to ‘enter into the Triumphal Church”?
Shut up America & let them eat peanuts.....
Jimmuh Cahter = waste of skin/space!!
Hey Jimmy,
You can’t stop us, we’ll tell Pres. Bush!!!!!!!!
(carter told his security officer in Darfur he couldn’t stop him from going into the commuity, or he’d tell the Darfurian leader on him.)
Carter is the dumbest individual ever to walk into the White House. Elected by the “smart” set on the left and thrown out of office by the “smarter” set on the right.
Thank God for the Great man, Ronald Reagan, who put the peanut farmer in his place and permanently humiliated him in a landslide election.
Carter is a national embarrassment. He has no perception of his own limitations. No concept of his disgracful place in history with regards to middle east politics (and US economic politics.)
Thats always the problem with dumbasses, they don’t know they are dumb.
Regards
Shortly after the Sudan revolution of 30 June 1989 that brought the savage Islamists to power Jimmy Carter arrived in Khartoum. For five years thereafter he carried the Islamist junta’s water, offering his services to General Bashir in achieving peace with Southern Sudan where the Khartoum-junta took part in a genocide that would cost 2.0+ million deaths. Ironically, as the vicious Arabs caused the death of millions of Nilotes and Christians practically no one in the West cared. Now you have the Sudanese government sponsoring Arabs of western Sudan in their attacks on Muslim African tribes. And the West gets very excited. Amazing.
“PamperED”
is indeed the relevant tense. Condering they are presently dead as a result of Muslim government-inflicted “GENOCIDE”.
Thanks a bunch for nothing...Cracked Corn et al.
