Joe Scarborough: MSNBC's kind of Republican. The sort who not only tells Democrats they're "very badly" needed in Washington. Who not merely expresses the desire to write them a campaign check. But who even volunteers [tongue-in-cheek, one would hope] to do illegal check-bundling for them a la Norman Hsu.
After recently putting in an embarrassingly sycophantish performance when interviewing Hillary Clinton, Scarborough was back ingratiating himself with another Dem today. Interviewing former Nebraska senator Bob Kerrey on "Morning Joe," talk inevitably turned to the possibility of Kerrey seeking a Senate seat again. Scarborough waxed wildly enthusiastic.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: We need you in Washington very badly, and I say that as a Republican who would probably -- boy am I going to get into trouble because probably one my friends is going to run against him -- would like to write you a campaign check, if I can do that.
BOB KERREY: Now I know why I always say yes to come on your show.NOTE: If queried, I'm guessing Scarborough would defend his position on the theory that Kerrey is a "moderate" Dem. Nuh-uh. His American Conservative Union rating from his last time in the Senate? 7%! That's 73 points lower than Chuck Hagel's rating. Thirty-points more liberal than even super-ex-RINO Lincoln Chaffee!
SCARBOROUGH: I'm actually told I can't do that. But my wife is a really big fan. I'll give you my address afterwards. And I've got a couple of cousins, and as we always say in northwest Florida, you've got a lot of fans who are huntin' dogs, too. So I'm the bundler for Bob Kerrey.
Joe Scarborough hearts Bob Kerrey. Ping to Today show list.
Hey Joe are you going to ask Bob if his wife works the polls???
ROFL
I don’t know what happened to Joe Scarborough. The man has been body snatched. I suppose it is better a fool speak up right away and get it over with so you know not to put them in charge of heavy machinery. MSNBC doesn’t have any real conservatives anymore. I used to watch MSNBC a lot but now CNN has more appeal than the crap they put on. They have become the cable TV version of Air America.
It is so transparent. You get a morning MSNBC talk show, and the guest are exactly the same as Anus in the Morning's guests, i.e., bunch of libs and drive-by-media whores.
Joe Scarborough has been drinking too much Florida Panhandle gulf water. He is hallocinating.
I’d like MSNBC to write Scarborough a severence check.
What is that brown smear on your nose, Joe?
Write your resignation letter instead, Joe. Your audience just disappeared.
I would think Scarborough just got tongue twisted by all the saliva he drooled out on Kerry, but his next guest, Sen Webb of VA continued the love fest. Kerry is the one who got Webb to run, blah blah.
Maybe Scarborough thinks he has to play this kissy face game with his guests, maybe it’s his proof that he’s fair and balanced, but it makes him sound downright silly.
I don’t know who’s more tedious, Joe or Mika. At least with Mika, you know her thinly veiled, venomous bile directed at George Bush is genuine.
New School president Kerrey was oh so coy about whether he would run again for Senate. He said he’s gone from to “hell no, to no, to maybe”, as if the DNC has been coaxing him to run for months. But we make a mistake thinking he would automatically run as Nebraska resident. oh no, I think he’d run for Hillary’s New York senate seat. I think that’s “the” plan.
Well put.
I missed the Webb love-in, but will see if I can find the transcript.
Dog bites man story. He’s probably write a check to frenchie kerry as well.
I bet Ole Banjo Boy has ridden a few poles if you know what I mean.
I thought I read in a post here that Kerrey had a connection to Hsu? Joe was maybe closer to the target than he ever realized.
nose ?.......that is the whole turd
Gee Joe .. what’s next?
Are ya going to team up with Huffington Post??
Hey, lay off the Gulf Panhandle gulf water joke.
S. is not hallucinating. He is simply an ASS.
