President George Bush has repeated his belief all religions, "whether they be Muslim, Christian, or any other religion, prays to the same God" – an assertion that caused outrage among evangelical leaders when he said it in November 2003.

I simply am typing my thoughts...

Now we are getting to what the liberals love: root causes. The root cause of why you are so offensive, wrong, illogical and dishonest is just that: you are, as you say, simply typing your thoughts. Your thoughts are offensive, wrong, illogical and dishonest. So here's my solution: Stop thinking and for G-d's sake, stop typing your thoughts

BTW, most misery is self-induced. True, but not in this case. In this case, you are doing all the misery induction for the entire planet all by your little old self. Now go take your medication and lie down.

“Won’t that interfere with his halo?”

Nope. His halo is safely tucked away in his Power Rangers lunchbox, right next to the secret decoder ring.

Well, I don’t know it in the original Hebrew (though as you said we could argue interpreation, though I don’t feel like doing that, at this point either), it seems to me the simplist clearest explaination is best, and that would exactly what it says “the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters”. I appreciate your posts, but for now, lets just respect that we don’t believe the exact thing, and let this be an informative post between us about Judaism, and Christianity (friend ;-)).

Why do you think he’s miserable?

After all, ignorance is bliss...

1. There is one Food.
2. If you eat food and there is only one Food, then all eat the same Food.

I don’t think so.

I certainly didn’t know the man and his faith seems to be defined way differently than mine.

Horse no kaukau cow kaukau. COW kaukau cow kaukau!

(Old Hawaiian joke. About a dispute between two farmers as to whose animal kaukau (meaning to eat or feed) the kaukau (meaning fodder or feed))...

“there is no trinity”

The trinity is a construct of man in attempt to understand the nature of God, post ascendancy.

So there may or may not be a literal trinity, per se, but you’ll have to come up with a better argument than “is not” to counter 1500 years of Christian Theology.

I’m just sayin’.....

If you are a christian you believe that Jesus is God, the son

Not ALL professing Christians believe this, some believe Jesus was the Son of God, 'separate' from the Father.

I’m more curious to know if this is what he has believed from the get go, or is this some quasi appeasement to those in the Mideast. When I was talking to my friends today, I told them what President Bush said and they were absolutely horrified. And horrified is not an exaggeration.

You quoted me out of context, a big no-no. I said:

"No, according to Jews, who have died many times over this little disagreement, there is no trinity."

According to Christians, is a whole different matter and I do not pretend to tell Christians what they believe. If I'm not mistaken the concept of the trinity is itself the subject of extensive debate among Christians. My whole point on this thread has been to say lets not preach to each other, tell the other what his beliefs are or ought to be or to in any way disprespect someone else for thier beliefs. I'm just replyin'....

They would be wrong, unless you are also saying that Jesus was both the Son of God, and Fully God (I know I don’t fully understand it, myself. I don’t think we as humans were supposed to..)!

I really have no idea why Bush would hold Ramadan in the White House: As I have said it is one thing to respect muslims, it is another all toghether to partake in their religious practices (reeks of multiculturalism), and it is strange for a “Professing Christian” to say all worship the “same God”.

He may mean that we all pray to the same God as in God the Father of Jesus. Example Jews, Muslims, Christians all believe in the God of Abraham, Moses, Creator of Adam. The other just don’t believe that it was Jesus there all along.
