I’m honored, and a belated thanks to the committee for the blue ribbon a few weeks back. This is the first time in a few weeks I’ve been able to catch the Sunday morning comedy hour.

They can’t go on if they’re not invited.

Phsstpok's Sunday Talk Show Preview Thread has a fantastic chart, detailing the MSM's obvious bias in inviting "guests"--or, more appropriately, "boosters." The bloggers should prepare a similar chart for the Sunday Talk Shows for the past eight years. A chart that would demonstrate--NON-ANECDOTALLY--the MSM's obvious bias. We all know how biased the MSM is, but a chart like the one Phsstpok did would be fantastic for real Republicans to use any time.

Phsstpok, thank you for all the information you bring to us. It is always so exposing of the bias and the sham of our media - be it FoxNews or those others.

I am a strong supporter of President Bush and our war on terror. I feel Iraq was the right way to start.

You don’t find a democrat who criticizes their party. But Republicans can hardly wait to chew ourselves up.

Yet I hear Republicans saying .... we made mistakes the way we went into Iraq ... and other comments but that one really stinks!! Considering............

Considering who was the President when 9/11 was being planned.

Considering what our information avenues were.

Considering how our military force had been cut.

I have yet to hear a Republican candidate talk about the wasted clinton years. But I have heard their chopping President Bush. And it disgusts & angers me.

ANYWAY..... received an email this am and it may be old clip from Fox&Friends and I know the link does not work but I know you know how to get it. Its about our men and women!!!!

(all that said.... I want strong border controls, no driver lic issued which just leads to a voter card I.D. and....

no socialized medicine program — children up to 25 years old - who are they kidding!!!!!

Paige asked what the biggest myth about Mrs. C. was and Carl said that she really, really was just a public servant and not at all about power.

It sounds like the Clinton machine have given Carl his choice of options: say nice things about Hillary or ___. because when he first started flogging his book, he mentioned very controversial opinions about Ms Clinton. “Correcting” that book tour seems to be what the current mission is about.

You’re right...Clinton Inc. must have given him a call because that book came out ages ago.

Seems to me Miss Nancy is still SO impressed with her "first woman Speaker" gig...when pressed she admitted it would be a thrill to announce the first woman POTUS--but, also the first African-American, minority, etc. (Funny, she didn't have anything special to say about the other Queen Bee.)

And then she rambles on about what a role model she is for young women and how fathers tell her that when she is out and about. She concludes that it is MUCH harder to become Speaker than President. Lastly, she thanks Chris for coming to the Office of the Speaker. We got it, Nancy...you're the Speaker of the House. My nerves!

I don’t think any of them have any patriotism....it’s all about the politics and conservatism is not part of their game plan as we speak. I am beginning to wonder, if there has been word from above (Ailes), to give the Democrats whatever they want. The changes on FNC have been abrupt. Could it be Clinton has gotten some kind of leverage on FNC or Wallace?

So, as President, John Edwards will take decisions on whether or not to fight terror based on what a particular group calls itself. ("Quick, Habib, we need a name change! John Edwards might send a Quick Reaction Force in from Kuwait or Okinawa if we keep saying we're an al Qaeda outfit.")

LOL. I loved this from Mark. He picks up on way more nutsy stuff than I do, but I am gratified that we often prick up our ears at the same things.

Reminder to keep Mark in your prayers as he battles cancer.

Thanks. I searched on the Foxnews web site but didn’t find it using the file name. I searched again on the title, THE REAL STARS, and got a video talking about Larry Craig. I watched it and it was spot on Stein started out launching from the Larry Craig situation being entrapment and how Craig did nothing criminal (it’s Gestapo tactics! Gestapo, Gestapo, Gestapo!) and then going on a tear (kind of an odd thing to think about in regards to Ben Stein) basically about Republicans not having any back bone.

Excellent piece. Again, thanks.

She concludes that it is MUCH harder to become Speaker than President.

%%%%%%

That came from way out in left field, didn’t it! I have to imagine that the votes of the Democratic caucus are harder to get than the votes of a majority of the entire United States of America!!!

Irrational! Will any commentator ever call her on it? Maybe Rush will.

a lot of Brits do not wear Union Flags or fly them

I think that part of this is that in the US the flag is the symbol of the nation, and in Britain the monarch fills this role, since our chief executive is politically involved, but yours is not.

There will be no problem, unless Giuliani is nominated, so our job is to defeat Rudy for the nomination. If we are going to be hanged, let us hang together, rather than being hanged separately (Thanks to Benjamin Franklin)

I trust that Rush has kept a sharp eye on the Madame Speaker...tomorrow’s show will be great fun—Nancy, the Breck Girl, Charlie Rangel, Mrs. Clinton’s snippiness...

As I understand it, they DID call just as you suggest, and the MSM REFUSED to let them come on!

Not to mention that the two liberal democrat “reporters”; one from CNN and one from the WAPO explained why “good news from Iraq is NOT worth reporting”. This is the big thing that came out of talk shows today, imho.

YUP, GOOD NEWS FROM IRAQ IS NOT WORTH REPORTING BECAUSE THESE “REPORTERS” DON’T SEE A TREND YET. PROOF POSITIVE THAT THEY ONLY TELL THE “NEWS” THROUGH THEIR OWN BIASED EYES.

Both admitted that if there were more killings they WOULD REPORT that, but the lesser troop deaths and civilian deaths IS NOT WORTH REPORTING.

(Sorry for yelling).

So it has been over two months since any of the top three GOP candidates have been seen on a talk show, and that was on one of the group press conferences called a debate? What a surprise!

Dinner looks scrumptious as usual, but I thought Yorkshire Pudding was strictly a beef side dish?
