You think?
Well let's see how pubbies do the job they were elected to do. I see Nancy Pelosi was out and about. funny, I musta missed the pubbie.
Thanks Laverne.
A dose of global warming or should I say climate change sounds preferable
Nope, IIRC low 40% first time and almost mid 40% second time.
BTW, though I liked a lot of what I heard from Perot better than Dole (until the very end when Dole finally, weakly went on the attack), there was something fishy about Perot. I knew a LOT of really good people who voted for him and stuck us with the Scumbag.
Later a group of doctors filed a FOIA to get the list of people Hillary was secretly working with on her Socialist Health Care scam. The Washington Times ran a large ad by these doctors with that list. Perot's name wasn't on it, but his COMPANY was.
So IMO it wasn't patriotism, it wasn't a desire to be president... IT WAS THE MONEY, HONEY! I think we'll be seeing a rerun unless we can derail it.
What the heck is this Pelosi filibuster on Fox.
She is lying and Wallace just lets her go on and on.
What was the question? And did Chrissy ask Nancy if she was endorsing her you go, girl pal Mrs. Clinton?
******
IIRC, I think the question was ‘why have you not ended the war by now (major paraphrase).
He did ask her, more or less, when she was going to endorse Mrs Clinton.
Reliable Sources is going to do a story on Rush;
Commentators:
Frank Rich (NYTimes)
Medved
Crossley (ex abcer).
First Segment on Rush:
Rich: Thinks there should not have been a big fuss over Rush (shock)...although he calls Rush stupid and then goes on to say Rush is demeaning soldiers. Rich also thinks the whole O’Reilly is a racist storyline was also completely blown out of proportion.
Medved: The real story if 41 dems signed a letter to Rush’s boss; the US Senate talking about a resolution to condemn opinion is outrageous. Rich agrees that congress is acting stupid. Medved asked about Harkin’s speech on the floor about Rush being a druggy...Medved says that Harkin was wrong and Rush had every right to defend himself. Medved gets into the whole issue of Fairness doctrine, which is what this is all about. Call Harkin’s statement a real cheap shot. Shocking that the senate is attacking a private citizen.
Crossley: She thinks Rush attacked soldiers who oppose the war; they just refuse to get the phoney soldier story correct.
Freep mail to you
Heidi Cullen. Thanks, jmf.
Back to you, snugs :)
Second topic, same group of “analysts” talking about Clarence Thomas:
Crossley thinks that Thomas should have been asked more questions about Anita Hill on the 60 minute interview. Crossley thinks he would have gotten a harder interview from an African american. Crossley thinks that CBS should have allowed Anita Hill to counter. Tell me: When has a republican ever been asked on to counter an anti-republican book? (Answer: never).
Rich thinks that Thomas didn’t get any tough questions from Hannity or Rush, but that abc/cbs news should have asked tougher questions about Hill as well. Rich thinks Thomas is really really angry.
Howie: CBS did ask hard questions, we didn’t ask about Hill because it is old news.
Medved: Thinks the interviews were pretty good, and were right in their substance.
The storyline about last week’s 12 year old victim has gone down the memory hole. I believe that the family’s lifestyle did not reflect their “needy” posture, and more publicity would reflect stupidity onto the dems who organized the kid’s appearance on the scene.
My grandpa was a mill supervisor and he and grandma raised 6 kids in a "mill house". It was a big white house with two stories, oodles of rooms and a fantastic wrap around the house porch. I remember it fondly.
Of course, it was surrounded by the mill worker's houses which were smaller but very well built and had 5 rooms. Those houses are still standing today and are a favorite among yuppies, who buy them, add on to them etc.
The lefties are criticizing 60 Minutes for being soft on Thomas, and for not having Hill on to offer a rebuttal. Can any Freeper cite a 60 Minutes Book-launching interview that had rebuttal guests? I don’t recall this kind of format.
Someone told me that Croft spent a week with Thomas. I think the final cut of his interview was a result of really getting to know his interviewee.
And once again a Democrat displays perfectly why they can’t be trusted with the security of this country.
Fighting al-Qaeda from Kuwait is akin to fighting Hitler from Martha’s Vineyard.
That’s rich. Wasn’t it their own lefty hero, David Brock of Media Matters, that wrote the book “The Real Anita Hill?”
Oh, yeah, that’s right, all Brock had to do was swear off everything he said before meeting Hillary.
Yeah... but Jeffrey Toobin's spent NO time with Thomas... and HE'S the one that the DBM relies on for all Thomas-related questions!
As I’ve said before RG...the 100%’ers of the Republican party are what will be our downfall if we are to have one in this election.
This whol “I’ll take my ball and leave” mentality by the 100%’ers is setting us up for having to watch Her Thighness sworn in as President.
