"Maybe he was just high on his drugs again," said Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa. "But that shouldn't be an excuse." That sounds suspiciously like the sort of personal attack Democrats claim to decry. And Sen. Harkin was just one of an impressive number of big foot Democrats to take to the Senate floor last Monday to calumniate conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh.
It's odd enough to have the Senate Majority Leader, his deputy, and the chairman of the Armed Services Committee, among others, take up the Senate's time to attack a radio talk show host, instead of, say, working on the appropriations bills that were supposed to have been enacted into law before the new fiscal year began Oct. 1st. But there was something odder still about Monday's performance.

Despite all the attacks, Rush keeps on going. He not only still has his listeners but gains new ones as well.
Goes to show that despite what Hilary does, in the case of radio talk shows, it will always backfire.
Yep! - 20+ million people a week get their news and facts from Rush. Enough to scare a socialist to death.
**Despite all the attacks, Rush keeps on going. He not only still has his listeners but gains new ones as well.**
More listeners, more stations, more RUSH!! No complaints here. And, yes it is true ... Any publicity is good publicity, as long as they spell the name right!
As for Dungheap Harkin, someone (could be Rush, himself)Leaked the results of Rush’s latest drug test (part of that ludicrious deal with Palm Beach DA)... CLEAN
All you libs ... Rush is CLEAN!! Bet none of your candidates can say that!!
The two most telling attributes of liberals is their greediness, and their stingyness. Lost of luck, bloggers!
LOL!!!! Rush really does run America! With Bush not running in ‘o8 they are completely lost. Watch out for spontaneous combustions. ;o)
“They’re running against Rush even though he’s not a candidate for public office. The Democrats think the way to win in 2008 is to all pile on America’s most popular radio broadcaster. This is too good for them to give up.”
Yes they are running against Rush! Rush even said that on his program yesterday. I also agree that the DEMS think this is too good for them to give up, and I am glad they think that way. They are just to stupid to realize that this is going to backfire even bigger than their Move On ad. The longer the DEMS keep spreading their lies, the better! Wonder how many hits Rush’s web site has had with folks trying to read the transcripts of his programs last week or see the web cam videos of the programs. Bet there has been lots!:)
